There are an awful lot of Long Island kids who are going to be umprepared for class today.

They were forecasting 6-10, 8-15 inches of snow.

We got barely a dusting. I don't even have to clear off my car; the defroster should do it.

I'm not complaining-- and heaven help my own 3 if their homework isn't done. But there's going to be a lot of "I'll make up the homework" in my classes today.

Morning everyone!

Did fp+ selections and was wayyyyyyyyyyy improved over doing them in october. System seemed to work quicker and a little easier. Am going to tweek some adr's times. Seems easier to change adr's than get the fp+ system to change a time. Seems it likes to "overlap" dining. ???
And it knows it is doing it!

RHMH, Nice frost! I would LOVE to invite you to Chicago in January. The winter is sooooooooooooooo great up here. Best time to see northern Illinois. I wish I knew how to post a picture.
Lets put it this way > this year, our snow removal guy will be set for the whole year if he wanted to take off. It is nice to see your trees look like they loose leaves too.

We are presently at 1 degree but its sunny out. Not sure how that works.
They are saying 37 by end of the week. Think I will get some sun and lay out?

Aliceacc, Our TP2 is also in long island. Lots of disney fans in the east. Yes your weather is as bad if not worse than here. But you have wonderful beaches the rest of year. Lake Michigan in august is about 50 degrees. OMG. And half of the chicago beach is concrete. Not sure who planned that??

Today is my 60 day mark! Hard to believe may is only 2 months away. [[ especially when you look out the window ]].

Well you would have laughed harder at me this morning. I got so excited to see bright sunlight I went skipping along the sidewalk outside my house when I was leaving for work and nearly saw my rear end as I did a Bambi move on the black ice. Nothing quite like the element of surprise At least they would never have allowed that to happen to me in Texas. I wanna move there for my own safety

Wow, No I agree, you should defiantely not be driving up north anywhere in winter. It must be such an easy closet to only have spring / summer clothes.

** tv alert: Not sure what cable / satelite everyone has but: On comcast channel DEST > is disney week & having disney parks, cruises, etc....... all week. Here it is channel 201. Tonight at 7pm cst is a wdw show with resorts, etc... .

I want to get frozen. But, I might wait till we get there at wdw > with the 1 bedroom we get a dvd player. We usually are looking for a movie late at night to watch......

Well today its 21 out and snowing. Funny thing is it wasn't even listed to snow today. Just a "light" dusting about 2 to 3 inches today so far.

Got cancelled from work > did some chores today.
And cooking fish tonight.

Another week OMG spring might get here yet. We had a sunny and 50 on sat. today a little cooler but definately warmer. no snow this weekend maybe wed. they are saying.

Did some pre- packing planning this weekend. We are about 53 days out yet.

Just reserved it on Amazon... haven't seen it but am buying into all of the buzz My son saw it with his aunt and said it's his favorite movie so I think it will go in his Easter basket!

Soo, we were in a BIG thaw here, for a BIG day yesterday hitting the 60 degree mark some places in NJ, but ....alas, today it is back down to 22 O M G...this winter just never wants to end !!

The discount didn't work for me. I was looking to add a night prior to our bounce back reservation. I was able to score standard view, which is least expensive, for bb. But for the new DV code I could only book GV. I will watch Travelcity and Orbitz. They always have discount codes on top of whatever discount Disney is giving. Last year I got an additional 15%.
