well, since i dont think i wil be making the trip back home to NY this year. Ive started saving for the disney trip next year. past 2 paychecks ive taken a bit out. I want to take out at least $20 every paycheck, but more if i can. I have $60 so far for it.. aalready did my taxes, but thats already spent too. Im getting my ipad with it, and setting aside the rest for my new tv/wall mount.

so its about $60/$2,494 .. since i told my sis that she can pay what she can, since she has 2 boys to raise on her own.

Yep, coldddddddddddddddddd here too. Flurries this am, but nothing too much. Depressing here now that the BEARS are done. Well they went farther than expected and didn't give up, played a fair game.

Worked 12 hrs yesterday 3am > 3pm. Ugh waking at 2am is easier if your getting on a plane.

EE22, DS probably flew right over us. Hope he didn't hit bears traffic.

Candi, dresses here: not sure if you have in michigan, but for less costly: penny's and something nicer: macy's, nordstrom, von maur, lord & taylor. These have a nice online if you see something but her size is not available.

jmouse, good planning. your a good sister / aunt.

Tp2 & tomar, good luck with the jets. Look like they are in trouble right now too.

wow...mky those are horrible hours!

DS did okay with traffic. They left at 7 am. I figure most of the fans were probably well on their waylanded fine although about 40 minutes late. Colder than normal there, but better than here. We paid $20 more for the charter for all the students. Well worth it! He has a meet in Naperville on Friday, but we cannot get there in time after work so will have to miss it

Good luck with saving JMouse. WDW knows how to take the cash that's for sure.

Candi: Dillard's has good sales too.

TP2 and Tomar: STAY WARM. I hope you don't get more snow.

EE22, Too bad about Naperville. That is right down weber road from us. Hope it warms up in florida for him. I saw they had an 80 degree last week. Does he get to have a disney fix while there? Or just look at the signs?

mky...I knew you were close! North Central if you know where that is. Meet starts at 5 pm so we'd have to leave at 1 pm and that won't work.

80 would probably be too warm coming from here to train in so I guess it's a good thing although they are heading out at 8 am. I told him to pack sweats and a sweatshirt...hope he listened

No Mickey but he's okay with that...he knows it wouldn't be the same. DL11 is beside herself that he's that close and not going It's expensive too for only one day and they wouldn't get there till nearly 3 pm.

They are in Clermont and using the National Training Center.

EE22, not sure where north central is? Maybe he can talk his friends into DTD ? Its free. or at least kinda. Not sure how much he likes to shop.

He'd love to hit TRex but I was not sure where the free shuttle would drop him off and when it would pick up...so I am not feeling real good about that. It's 40 miles if they couldn't get back. He's okay with it though as he knows we are hitting DL soon!

Thanks for all the suggestions. It helps a lot to have a plan of where to go before you leave home.

Hopefully we can go Wednesday afternoon. She starts exams that day so will be off school in the afternoon.

mky...DH was watching WGN just now and laughing his fool head off with the Packer's fans in the background. He's all about football but doesn't go over board like some of the fans. Crazy!!!

DL11 will be a fan I'm sure soon. The girl loves football and actually understands it.

thats how i am. I grew up with all boy cousins.. so yeah kinda got forced into liking sports.. i shocked one of my male co workers with how much i understand and know about football... his team lost though... mine won and is going to the superbowl.. steelers not the packers..

EE22: I have gotta say that I am a bit jealous too!!! I think the thought of 71 degrees has a lot to do with it too.

Candi: If you can find a Marshalls or TJ Maxx, they are great for finding dresses at nice prices. I bought a Calvin Klein dress that I wore to my brother in laws wedding and paid $29.99. It was a Saturday night wedding and I was plenty dressed. I hope you have one of those stores.
