Just booked FD vacation for Aug 2nd thru 7th and wondering how bad the crowds will be . DH, myself and DS (4) love the heat but I am very concerned after reading other post that it will be jammed packed. I normally go around Labor Day week, I know it will be busier but is it worth the money I am saving with FD to go first week in August instead of early Sept. Any recommendations how to beat the crowds DS is always up by sunrise...lol!

Agree with EE22, early you can get so much more done. Or, if you night owls > stay very late. I like touringplans.com for touring advise. Its a paid site, [from "unofficial guide of wdw"] but, good & timely info.

we just had a few days with bad thunderstorms.. but of course instead of me being able to get good sleep with it.. nooooooo i had to be at work for it... both nights...what a waste of thunderstorms..


Im on my 2nd round of antibodics for my ear infection.. probably would be working better if my boss didnt keep putting me in frozen.

Minnie, that is wonderful news, congrat's on the YC. I am sorry, but the discount for aug. has already expired. There was one checking in on sunday. But, has left. Now there is one up till the sat 13th. It is on the disney web site under "specials". Still waiting for ap rates if that might help. Some people are talking about travelocity or expedia for better rates.

Jmouse, hit 85 today! I was looking for the air conditioner. But, right now we have tornado warnings and bad storms on the horizon.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Well, I can't believe it has been such a long time since I have been on here.

The good news is... I started a new job today! Boy am I tired after the first day. Plus I am fighting a bit of strep throught to help me along. It came on so fast and knocked me on my butt.

Now I am wondering how long I have to work before I can ask for time off for a summer vacation? I would love to plan a trip to San Fransisco but I we just might have to wait till the last minute and then make a quick trip down to WDW instead.

its so quiet here now... where has everyone been??




well my wonderful sis came up with an idea.. well i finetuned it a little bit. she told me that it was alright if i wanted Brandon go with us next year when we go to disney on our already planned trip... i thought that we could make it a foursome, her and her boyfriend Josh and me and brandon, if all goes well with me and brandon. Which so far so good. we have alot in common, and he is sweet and caring.. so it would be interesting.. if we did all go to gether i wonder how that would work.. one room or two.. connected probably is we do two rooms... or i suppose we could get a villa or a room with two bedrooms in it... things to think about i guess..


okay just got off the phone wiht my sis. she likes the idea.. and we talked abou the room issue. And thought about a villa.. and i started looking at them. I think we are decided on the Saratoga Springs trreehouses. a three bedroom one. we need the two bedrooms obviously.. extra is just cuz... the treehouses look so neat. plus its like being in a home away from home... we can cook our own things, probably save money by doing that. and have our own soda, since all they have is coke products and we hate coke.. we suffered last time by dealing with sprite.. caffine headaches alot.. so we can bring our own soda.. and all that stuff..

and me and brandon are gonna do something else this year, something small so we can save up for next year..

and ive talked to Brandon about it and this year we are gonna go to Washington DC and hit up all the museums. he has never been to the smithsonion, and like me has always wanted to. and i consider it a small trip cuz since the museums are free, only thing to pay for are food, hotel, and gas

i just realized something. thanx mostly to the president making his announcement. but me and Brandon will be in Washington DC, on the 10 year anniversary of 9/11 i wonder what they will have going on then. you know they will have something... i cant believe its been 10 years already.
