We're going in late June, possibly staying at the Dolphin--my DW is an educator and we can get a HUGE discount there. With the savings, we'll have enough for dining and not have to use the DDP

Just read that Member Services is taking Ressies for the TreeHouse villas starting on Feb 8th...... (for Saratoga Springs Owners).....and on Feb 22nd for everyone else.....for stays starting on June 1st !
The points are the same as the 2 bedroom accommadations at Saratoga !

ugh, actually, had food posioning the last couple of days. Couldn't miss any work thou, so crawled through that. Feeling a little better tonight. What else, can I get this winter? Honestly, this is ridiculous.

Candi, I know, we have a tea at 2pm and dinner after 6pm at the park. We where probably going to park at opening. [our first full day there, that am] > on friday 13th. We fly home on the 28th. Will you be back there by then? If your doing chef mickey's we are staying at the Contempary, so let me know, maybe we could hook up in the lobby?
We are down to 49 days!!!!

Tomar, thanks for the heads up on treehouses. That really moved quick. Would be great for a family reunion. Not that any of my family want to go there, except me and bug.

EE22, you are gonna have to cancel your july trip, if you keep taking snow days. This winter has been brutal. Suppose to deep freeze again on saturnday.


TP2, hope the kids are back to themselves? The little break out yet? If not, looks like her shot, was worth it.

Tomar: Good info. Out of my price range but if ever a big family trip, and everyone chips in, may work out.

MKY: DD4 is still clear so I guess the vaccine worked on her.

I cannot believe you got food poisening. You have been through enough this year. I will say that it seems to run in cycles. Maybe your body just gets so rundown you pick up everything. I was really sick in 1992, I think mostly from stress, but wound up in the hospital 3 times in a month. It was awful. Then you had to work on top of it! Heres to your health.

Great news Tomar on the Treehouses even though DH won't leave AKV.

TP2...glad she said clear of the pox.

Trip in July this year is good!! I remember our first trip was a bit nutty with snow days...we had 9 that year and I should have had a week and a day before we left and we ended on Friday and we left the next day!

I saw COLD again this weekend too mky...ick

I see everyone is online except MKY.

I am so sorry you got sick again MKY!

We are coming off the cruise ship on March 21st and we are going to be heading to Downtown Disney before we go to Vero Beach. Maybe we can meet up on that Saturday.

How about a ladies stay in the treehouses in the future?? Boy that would be fun.

The weather is turning very cold here tonight. The wind has picked up and all of my recyclables are now frozen to the boxes....don't know how they are going to manage to empty them tomorrow. My bet is I come home and they are all still full.

Has anyone ever ordered any goodies to the room? I was looking at the celebration package where they come and decorate your room. So cute but $300. I then saw Mickey ears with the cheap autograph book and that was like $50, cheap in comparison but when you need 3, not so much so. Wondering if there are any offsite places that would deliver something fun to the room. How exciting would it be for the kids.

I've never done that TP2...would be fun though. Our treat always comes from my step mom with her order of zebra strawberries. They said they are not doing that now, but I think it's because we were at WL and not AKV.

Stay far far away, from WDW florist!!!!!!!! I am not kidding. This year I thought the same thing. Ooooh it is always a cute idea. So with max > I ordered. [alot]. I ordered the kids plate with snacks and candi and autograph book, ears, ...... . And for bug, I ordered the lunch bag, snacks and candies. First problem: I wrote down bugs allergies, and was told "no problem". Then I wanted the card signed simba {my stuffed animal} or sj they said "as long as the person recieving: knows it is NOT simba > ok". Then I ordered when we moved [our split] > and pop and chip tub. Well, bug got all chocholate the cards not signed I called, immediately > and they said: you want us to run something else up? Like I was putting them out. I told them bug, could virtually not eat 1 thing in this bag, and they could take it back, if they wanted or change it. Finally told me: no we will fix it. They did: the next day: i got a plain plate, with 2 gummies bag on it. We waited 24 hours for that replacement. I think it cost me over $30.00. Never again. I liked them when I ordered and they talked to me >> but, that day I called totally not impressed. Rude, put out,..... . I was soooo excited about the surprise: all to be let down. Trust me, save your money. Or order something from room service: they have those chocohlate mickeys or something?

I think your right: way to worn down after the asthma, [& still coughing] I need to go to wdw.

MKY: Thanks for the info. I figured I would have to stay away from food because of the egg allergy but I thought some other stuff would be fun. Maybe I will shop and have DH takes the kids to the pool and I will do it myself. That way I know what they are getting and don't pay a ridiculous price for the service. It would be nice to just have it there though.

MKY, did you eat any peanut butter snacks? Big recall, wondering if that is what made you sick.

I hope everyone is getting enough rest and washing their hands a lot...too much going around here.

I do hope to at least have a break from the deep cold. I we still have a lot of winter left but MKY - you and I will get a break before too long

I have the van/SUV rentals all set. I was hoping for a deal but they have doubled in price since I book the ones I have.

I have the hotels all set up and the shore excursions booked (not from the ship). I have had the airline tickets since July so I think the plans are all set.

Now I just have to work hard at paying off the furniture and the trip before we go. Plus the maintenance fees are due in the next couple of weeks. I love owning the points but dues on 420 points is sticker shock after Christmas. Plus US money is back up to $1.28 Canadian for $1 US.

Anyway....I woke up today, I got to go to work and they are even going to pay me....life is good.

Candi, you are so organized. wtg. I keep thinking, I have to do this, and that > so I can even start to think about vacation stuff. I am never going to get there.

Hit 35 degrees today! This morning, the news said " presently 15 degrees in chicago, but check out Orlando Florida, a balmy 35! OMG. I am so glad we wheren't there now. I am not expecting a sweltering 90 in march, but it better be over 60.

So I open the message expecting one of the codes floating around and they offer the same buy 4 get 7 deal that is all over the place. I even checked the expiration thinking that maybe it was extended, but no. All the dates are the same. I have no clue. Maybe they just wanted to fake me out.

That deal expires this weekend so maybe one last hit TP2. Did they extend the booking time or when you have to book by?

No, the dates were all exactly the same. I thought it was weird. There are rumors on Touring Plans that the date is going to be extended into March but no one knows if they change the offer date.

Has anyone seen the $500 gift card offer? If you book a room for 5 nights with tickets, you get a $500 gift card. Wondering if you could split that between 3 reservations if staying 15 nights?

In any case, here is plenty of for all of our summer vacations. My room only so far is a great price but some of these codes flying around are a bit better. Ways to add extra magic to the trip.

TP2- Disney is pulling a fast one on everyone these days ...Some folks get the code ...some never get one ! .....
Now ...Our Dvc points are changeing as well.....ya can`t win !!
I think that whatever end result ....in the ressie department becomes something we can live with.......we`re gunna have to stick with it
