Travel dates: 6/3/07-8/4/07 for select Deluxe and DVC resorts only: Yacht Club, Beach Club, BoardWalk Inn, Old Key West and Saratoga Springs Resort. Note that this date range includes both Regular and Value Season at these resorts, so prices will vary depending on the dates you choose. Discounts are $90-$126 off per night at the Epcot resorts; $115-$145 at the DVC resorts (see below for specific prices). Book by 8/4/07. Use code FDK for Deluxe and DVC resorts.

Thanks! that's what I was looking for and now next spring I'll know where to find it. AP Rates might do me some good for our one night at the BC. $400 is a lot for a room and I'm sure that's still the 07 rates!!

Do you think those DVC rates are good at the BC or only at OKW and SSR? I have no clue.

The dvc rates seem to be in 2 different categories. ssr & okw > are 1 price alittle less, and then the epcot ones are higher. wlv seem to be in there own group but run in the middle.

That is a nice price they had on the 1 and 2 bedrooms. I stayed at BW villas in a 1 br 3 weeks after it opened for 210.00 / nite on a fabulous ap rate. You don't see that anymore. Loved the tub and the washer / dryer But they had a lot of problems. (main reason we haven't bought in). Poor valets, poor unsure front desk cm's, spotty housekeeping. Just thought for something brand new, no one seemed to be on top of anything. Kept telling us "your dvc people" We weren't but they should still treat / care for people all the same. Not as if your second class, cause you all ready bought in.
I am sure it is better now, but we will try it out again someday before we buy in. I would be very interested in CR if they really are villas, but I am sure that will be costly. But I did buy that illinois state lotto ticket just in case.

Did you notice AKL was NOT in the discounts this am? I read where they are upgrading people out of akl to okw or ssr to a 2 BEDROOM VILLA! (from std)?? If that is true > that would be an incredible buy. I think people are not staying ssr & okw cause of the locations. But they are not bad, kind of right in the middle. I really like OKW and if we tried I would pick there.

Do you get any special discounts on tix etc.. . that would help with the price of dvc.

We need to be at the BC or YC for SAB for DD.

I did notice AKL Was not in any of them all summer. It pushed me over the edge for DVC. Last summer was EXPENSIVE for 10 nights and it's gone up even more and the whole sleeping situation with two teenagers was going downhill FAST! Two rooms is the way we have to go from now on or more beds! We had two queens in Des Moines and it just wasn't much fun that's for sure.

You'll drop at this, but I wouldn't care what the upgrade was, my family WOULD NOT take it unless it was still at AKL. I guess I should be glad I didn't take the upgrade from POFQ to the Grand...I'd really be in trouble. I could have stayed at the Grand for $92. Don't fall off the computer chair!

I wonder if they are getting people out of the standards so they can work on the rooms?

We will get a discount on ap.
Some discounts on some food places. I'm sure Tomar will fill me in

I am so glad to hear that Sundays are not too bad at MK. I really want to take advantage of the Magical Beginnings. I had read to stay away from MK on Mondays and once we wound up there by accident and it was a disaster. We left in the middle of the day and never returned.

Tomar: Are you ironing yet or do you save that for after the flight? I do it before hand and just hope for the best. Must be getting so excited now.

I'm really not sure.. this is just a guess.. maybe because it's the first weekday.. and when a lot of people start their vacations, and I know A LOT of people who make MK their first day!

Like I said, i'm only guessing. I've never been.

I ironed a couple of things that are new...so I wouldn`t have such a hard time when I take them out of the zip-locks...(I zip-lock everything !!)
I really did a big chunk of packing last night !!
We`re actually going to send a box of things down to SSR before we leave...things like lysol wipes..mesh laundry basket...tide to go pen...extra plates (chinet)...umbrella...things that Im not packing in our luggage

EE22 - Did you get the "Portable Perks" book for DVC? It's got all the discounts in it. We use that thing quite a bit. If you don't have one, let me know & I will be happy to drop one in the mail to you. I think we have an extra one. If we don't - I can pick one up for you while we're there. Do you have the harback DVC book? It's got the points charts, etc. inside for all the DVC locations. I use it quite a bit while planning!

btw .... we went to the Vero Beach DVC resort for spring break & absolutely LOVED it!!! We can't wait to go back there.

Oh, we also felt the same way about BWV. We were there over Memorial Day weekend & were a bit disappointed in a few things ...... overall, it's still a great place to stay .......especially for the location!!!

VMK - I'll have to check my itenary against your parks & see about meeting up! That would be way cool. We're not scary - ask EE22, she met us last year.

TOMAR - You make me ashamed of myself!! We are 9 - yes, NINE - days out & I haven't packed one single thing yet! I mean, there are only FIVE of us to pack for ......... I'm sure it will be no problem....... What are your dates this year?

cool! let me know! We aren't gonna be there all day on some days.. so you'll have to let me know... to see if we can plan it. But please please if you do, don't be offended.. I am extremely shy in person. No one can tell by the way I can talk on here.. lol It's hard for me to open up to new people.. even if I have talked to them on here. My husband will probably just think we are weird! lol he thinks i'm crazy talking about lime green mickeys and where i'm gonna put them and everything.

EE22, no we have not done the barbque. I wanted to with our nephew (last year) but sis put the stop on that. She read in one of the "books" it was too crowded, hot, and unorganized. So we didn't get to try it. I thought it sounded fun.

Mouseaddicts, You are too funny! Now make you DH choke, tell him to multiple that x my 18 nites. Well that is what I have been working extra for.

VMKChloe, Don't worry, everyone is shyer in person. It is just talking about wdw that makes us loosen up.

TP2, yes they say the mk is worse on Mondays, due to the fact that is the first full touring day for many people.

Tomar, you are soooooooooooo organized! When you come back, I want you to keep on me to start early too. Now be honest, Do you have 1 suitcase full of stuff for your ?

Still having trouble getting into passholder site, to see discounts. And still have to go over and see if they changed the price for our room online. I am playing with the idea of paying this off now, and getting it done before?

More good news, I am down to 54 days and I just came back from foot md, > my chronic planter fascitis has now ruptured. This is really scarry news. Was hoping for the last month (while limping) that maybe it would start getting better. Or I sprained something? Aparently a big problem with nurses who walk / stand too much. So question is now With sis bad knee and my foot, we are really going to look like 2 old ladys, hobbling around wdw. I am bringing my camcorder for this trip for sure. You might see us on america's funniest videos. We are a sad lot this year. I hate getting older. (47 > pushing 50) Yes, we will still go, But the % of time sitting in the hot tub at the contempary has gone up dramatically.

Mouseaddicts- I have to know that every thing is where I`d like it to be,,,when I start to pack...so that takes up alot of time for me...I know..I know...it sounds wierd...but that`s just me..
I`d like the week before we leave for the world...to be....just going over our plans...and making sure every thing is covered at the homefront...
