Good morning everyone !! :surfweb: :goodvibes :wave2:
We had the most amazing week with the "Perfectly Princess" :cloud9: ....she spent her first thanksgiving with us...and she is just a joy !! :cloud9:
I hope that you guys had a wonderful thanksgiving holiday....sorry I wasn`t able to wish you one before hand....my computer was down for a while....and of course.....one thing leads to another....and its almost Dec. already !!!!
She was also Christened here in NJ on Sunday-.....and looked like a little Angel :cloud9:

MKY- Good luck with your new puppy :dogdance: I love the name :darth:

TP2- we took the baby to see santa on Friday....and yes.....the mall was sooo crazy  here in NJ also !!!!

EE22- :cheer2: 25 MORE DAYS !!!! :cheer2:

Today one of my students asked me how many times I've been to Disney and we were on the subject that we always go in the summer. A boy said that he wouldn't like going to FL when it's hot here too and asked why I didn't go at other times. I said...because I'm a teacher. Someone said why not go at spring break or at Christmas? Another said...ooooooo...Christmas would be so neat to see all the decorations.

They don't know that we are going because I didn't want the whole world to know we'd be gone over break.

I could hardly contain myself.

Hiya everyone!

Glad everyone has had a great holiday. We are still having great weather. It was 60 today! Really hard to believe. But they are saying snow and in the teens by friday. :dance3:

Tomar: glad your up and running again. :badpc: Good to hear you wore the baby out. It must of been hard to let them go home. But xmas will be here in no time.

EE22: WOW you are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo close. :hourglass It must be sooooooooo hard to be in the class room, thinking about packing! Or have you finished already? December weather is all over. I remember jeans, or shorts? or sleeveless vs. long sleeve? Jackets?

TP2: Hang in there, I am placing a bet your in for next summer. popcorn:: Maybe he already has it arranged and its your xmas present? :wizard: You never know? Glad your pup settled down.

Disfan3: welcome! EE22 is also a teacher. :teacher: I am planning august too but it seems like we will be waiting forever. :hourglass

:darth: Vader, Is already spoiled rotten. He has taken over the whole house. And wore out his grandparents who babysit him all day while we are at work. I forgot what it is like with a puppy. They are soooo much work.

I envy you guys with your new appliances. Those front loaders are really nice. Being short, I have trouble reaching down into our washer.

MKY: I don't think he will EVER plan a trip but he may give the go ahead for ME to plan another trip :thumbsup2 . He even said the other day, maybe this summer you go on vacation ahead of me and I will meet you down there. ;) (we need to refinish the hardwood floors). I did not do the marathon this year so I think it helped. We also had the dining plan which was wonderful. Time will tell.

Tomar: I am so glad you had a wonderful holiday with your granddaughter. I know that it reinvents the holiday season for you. I see it with my parents.

EE22: Woohoooooo....you are so close. You give WAY more cookies out than I do. I do give to close friends that we don't send gifts to but no where near the number that you do. No wonder you were baking 30 loaves of bread over the Thanksgiving break. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: You deserve the cheers.

Hi guys
Well......we`re trying to get into the christmas spirit here in New Jersey.....but today it was alittle hard... with the weather being almost 68 degrees :earseek:

MKY- Yes....I can`t wait to get the "Perfectly Princess" back for Christmas.....she is my Joy! :cloud9:
Glad to hear that Vader is getting comfortable in his loving home :goodvibes

TP2- I understand about how your parents feel.....Christmas has a whole new meaning....all over again for us...for sure !!!! princess: :cloud9:
Hope all works out with the prospects of a new trip for you guys pixiedust:

EE22- :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:
As of tomorrow........It`s DECEMBER ! :woohoo:

I think I am going to pee my pants soon if I don't find out what the park hours are for June SOON :scared: I have been dying to make ADRs since Feb :upsidedow and now I get to make them at 7 tomorrow, but can't find the park hours/ EMHs yet! :scared1:

 :surfweb: Hi guys! Sorry haven't been around. Just too busy with Vadar & work. Yes, we got nailed with the snow. :wizard: Its still here. :confused3 High of 18 today. I think winter has hit us. They are saying back in the 30's this weekend, maybe? :woohoo:

WOW, EE22!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are sooooooooooooooooooooo close!!!! :cheer2: I really think, I almost enjoy the couple of weeks before till you leave almost as much as the trip. Those sleepless nites, the planning frenzy of double checking everything. Thinking about what you would be doing exactly now. Lets see it is 1:25pm here so that's 2:25pm there and probably seating somewhere on mainstreet for that 3pm parade today. :smickey:

Our planning is still in the first stages. I have the CR tower (mk view) :woohoo: But if they are under construction with resturants, etc.. . We may change. Our last several trips have been Poly so it will be nice to change. CR was always are fav. but started to look run down in the rooms, on our last trip 04'. Can't wait to see the "new" rooms. We turn in our Vacation request by Dec. 31, for next year and will get approval by March 1. Then planning goes into hyper - drive. Time to get air, and car. Sometimes, I will plan air times, and try to set up car if its a great price, before I have approval. I need to read that CR thread over and find out the latest info. Last time I was on they are skeptical if CR's north tower is being redone for DVC. Tomar, Have you read anything yet?
It would be nice, if we decide to split our stay, I would definately try to get a 1br villa somewhere, but not sure if we want to move. I am still toying with the idea of a couple of days at dvc's vero beach.

Hope you East coast guys (tomar and TP2) are getting some cold and snow too. I think EE22 sent it to me, and we are sending it out to you. :rolleyes1

I am 1/2 done with christmas shopping, but have up trees and decorations. Vadar is keeping us busy. I need to put him down and start wrapping presents. See what I bought so far.

Have a great week! mky princess:

15 Days!
Time to panic :rotfl:

counted out the quarters for the tollway tonight and put them in my mini M&M container.

Checked the ADRs.
Pray the car rental is there. Not sure how to double check that.
Plane...check.
Hotel...check.

Can't wait!!! :Pinkbounc

EE22: 2weeks from today! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: You must be so excited. We were watching Polar Express last night and the train ride reminded me of Expedition Everest. I said, "Oh I would love to ride that again". My husband just rolled his eyes. I am starting to really miss that place now and would love to start planning another trip after the holidays are over. I also love the planning, I think as much as the trip itself.

MKY: I know what you mean about you have to see what you have so far with the gifts. I have been storing stuff in the attic since the summer and have no idea what is up there at this point. I am sending DH to Costco with the kids so I can wrap everything. I am hoping to be all done but I first need to make sure things are even between the 3 girls. Otherwise I am done other than baking. I have my decorations and tree up too. I really just want to enjoy the season this year.
Oh and we did get the cold...yesterday. Thursday it was 50 degrees and Friday it was 15 degrees, even lowere with the windchill. It was freezing and we still don't even have hats or gloves out yet. I had to run DD6 to the doctor. Not sure what is going on with her but she was vomiting all week and noone else is sick. Usually with a virus we all get it but not this time. Doc wants to hold out on doing further tests until we get through the weekend. Said it can still be a weird strain of a virus. :confused3

Tomar: You got to enjoy the freezing temperatures too. Hopefully you got to watch the news and knew before you headed out in the morning. :rotfl:

Hope everyone enjoys the season. I am just trying to enjoy every second this year. DD8 is starting to outgrow some of the magic so I am trying to savor it this year.

TP2: Enjoy the season. 8 is probably nearly the end. Christmas is not as much fun as it once was. It's easier though, but not nearly as much fun. I can't even buy the kids clothes to open anymore because they are so particular so gift cards it is this year. Next year I'll be buying DS gas cards :guilty: oh the pain of it all! That stomach stuff was going around here this fall. Sick for 5-6 days and then over it. Good luck.

Tomar is getting ready for PP.
MKY: Darth's first Christmas :darth:

I'm trying to remain calm. No one seems to think they should be getting stuff ready. DH has that Friday off so he thinks he has all the time in the world. NOT!!! DD has a bball tournament next weekend on Fri, Sat and Sun so next weekend is shot! Fortunately, besides work, we don't have stuff going on at night the week before we leave. I'm sure DS will have major projects due though. Spanish II should be a breeze. He has a geometry test that week, but English, Science and History could be annoying!! I think he'll have a project for English on Romeo and Juliet. Hmm...not sure what he'll do with that. :confused3

My step mom had knee replacement surgery last Tuesday and came through it okay so that was a load off my mind that's for sure. She's in a lot of pain of course, but doing okay.

I'm still so unsure about what to pack and how cold it will be. I hear at night for CLP is will be cold by the water.

Just have to remain calm. Think Happy Thoughts for good weather for us on the way out! :cloud9:

Must have a Mickey Bar this time too! :mickeybar

:hourglass :hourglass

EE22: I am relieved to hear that there is a stomach virus that lasts this long. I have been thinking that it is something else because she is so fine when she is not vomiting. She wants to play and eat. Usually my kids are out of it until it is over. I don't know anyone else with it but tonight at church someone got carrried out of the building getting sick. :sad2:

I totally understand what you are saying about noone else getting ready. This summer we had a birthday party the day before we were leaving. I thought okay, I know the party is over at 2:00pm, then I will get the rest of the packing, etc. done. Well no. My DH wanted to go back to the house and have dinner with everyone. I was a wreck and I don't think anyone else there understood either. I not only pack but like the house in top shape before we leave. I don't like coming home to a mess. I am sure you will get everything done in time. At least the older kids can help and keep their own room clean.

I hear what you say about the holiday getting easier. Most of my stress is related to doing things when I am alone. It is very hard to find time without any of the kids around.

Well, enjoy this last 2 weeks. The gift cards sound REAL boring  . At least you get to go to Disney. I would trade all the shopping for Disney and gift cards any day. 14 days :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

TP2: I hope your DD gets well soon.

I did major packing today. Everyone is done except DD. Imgaine that. Miss Procrastination herself!

The holidays are easier with the kids, but we are so busy otherwise I guess that's really a good thing. We finally have a day off today and that's why I packed. Last Sunday we were "off" too, but I made cookies. Sat was filled with an honor band for DD a LONG way away! ick! I'm sure not how we'd fit in Christmas stuff between math, Spanish and projects! DD started bball this week too and next year we'll go from football right into bbal for her. Should be a rat race like no other.

My trips to WDW are gone for awhile so you all will have to enjoy them for me. I checked DS's track schedule and there is a meet during this spring break and I know bball will have practice over Christmas break. So...such is life.

I enjoy every moment we are there in...

2 WEEKS :santa:

OK......EE22.... pixiedust: .13 more days pixiedust:
Christmastime in the "World"....what could be more Magical :cloud9:

TP2- Hope yur DD is feeling better....something must be going around...it`s been here in New Jersey too  My neighbor`s children were having a stomach type sick feeling a little while ago.
Yes Its been COLD here too:cold: ....and trust me...I have NO fondness for the winter AT ALL !!! LOL

MKY- How is vader doing ?....How is your planning going for the summer trip?
My date for calling in our ADR`s is coming up in Jan. :woohoo:
Now all we need is a nice little AP code like last summer...and I`ll be a happy camper :cloud9:

Christmas is almost upon us....We`ve been sooo busy...getting the house ready for the "Perfectly Princess"...She`ll be here in 12 days !! princess: :cloud9: Next week I`ll be dedicating my time in the kitchen preparing for Christmas Eve........ :santa:
hope everyone`s weekend is going well :goodvibes

Hiya! :yay: 11 days!

WOW! Lots going on. :wizard:

EE22, sounds like you are about ready. Here's hoping for good weather and no flight delays. Are you all squared away with the driving? If you drive from stanford, do you take I4 or 417? I hate I4. That is worse than chicago driving. :moped:

Tp2, Hope everyone is feeling better. :cloud9: At work we have seen a lot of stomach things. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. > with the kids. In our paper here, it said that 170 kids did not show up at the 1 grade school, for stomach flu complaints. Yikees, hope we don't get all them at work.

Tomar, P.Princess is coming sooooooooo soon. :woohoo: Sounds like you are in P.P. withdraw.

I heard a commercial here on radio today, saying jet blue was now in chicago. I tried to check on the airfare, it was about $200.00 and you have to fly to JFK, then to Orlando. takes about 6 to 8 hrs. flying  Well maybe someday. I like the sound of the personal tv thing.

I also got in the mail today a nursing conference at WDW. Its at the Coronado resort, and rooms are $149 for the conference. It is in April 07'. But not set for Pediatric Nursing, just general Med /Surg nursing, so I am passing. But I did think about it for a few minutes.

:darth: Has doubled his weight already. He was just 8# and now clocks in at 16.9#. I cannot believe its only been 2 weeks. I am totally black and blue from puppy teeth and nails. He is dangerous. Or in Vader talk "strong with the force of the dark side".. :yoda:

Hope everyone is enjoying the anticipation of the holidays. With everyone's plans. I am working Christmas day this year. And then NY eve. I won the "cancel" lotto for NYE, so i might get out of that. :dance3: Fingers crossed. Sis's b-day is Dec. 27th so we have to do something special too. She is 40 this year.

Have a great day! mky princess:

Romeo and Juliet princess: isn't going so well.
I don't do Romeo and Juliet stuff. Oh well...it will be over soon.
I'm buried with helping the kids with homework. It's just insane!

I must say though....
10 DAYS :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa:
