MKY: Double that!!! Bye Bye!!:wave2: :wave2: :wave2: Have a wonderful time. Can't wait to hear all about it when you get home.

EE22: Time to move to Florida.:beach:

Safe Travels mky...can I come?? I will fit in a suitcase I'm sure.

I think it's time to move anywhere but here. The flood troubles are still here. I was at the PO this morning and someone was having their mail forwarded and was explaining that now that the downtown office was out of comission, everything goes through Des Moines so the forward takes 2 weeks to go into effect and for mail to start showing up. Our mail is bad enough already.

My step father received his Father's day card that I mailed on June 6th on July 7th. :confused3 My mom thought it was his birthday card!!

I'm still holding my breath for class sizes at school.

Found out too that the sporting arena where track and the throwing rings that they plowed under for the admin buildings...there are no rings near by so no one is sure where the field events will take place. I told them I'd drive the van for the kids to get there. :drive:

DD passed Driver's Ed today. STAY OFF THE SIDEWALKS!!!:car:

EE22 - what is it like to have kids driving? I wonder what that feeling like.

MKY - have a great trip with Bug and Max. Enjoy yourself and stay healthy!  :cheer2: :cheer2:

It's not a happy feeling...not at all. I've pretty much gone from one phase to the next through their lives with a tad bit of aniexty...middle school, high school and I did okay...but the driving...not a happy thing for me. I cannot drive with them. I sort of come unglued. Last fall when DS was driving to practice for the first time and he was suppose to be home, I must have checked out the garage door about 20 times in 20 minutes...continued this behavior till DH said...it won't make him get home any faster. I still don't like the feeling of them being on the road. The parking lot at school is just not a happy place either.

EE22, glad you have good news about airtran. Mousesavers does list it as airline check in. So should be ok. Think we will wait and see how we feel about flying when we go, but it is an option. I even looked into allegiant air, but they only fly on certain days, not sure how that would work out.

AAA rates should be announced on the code board, they will be talking about it. They are due about next week. :confused3 If you have the time, just leave me a voice mail. I know your going to be busy and with the kids;) so don't worry about it. Should not be as stressful as ap releases etc.. .

So what happened your cutting yourself with scissors? Stop that.:scared1: :scared1:

mky:cutie:

Found the thread mky and will keep a watch out!! Saw your post:cutie:
Have an awesome trip.

:wave2: hiya everyone :wave2:

You guys missed my question: what time are the "real" park openings? Don't want to get up early and miss everything. ;) If says 9am is it 9am? or 8:30am, 8am .. . .... .

DL11  Congrat's on your driving licence!! Good luck, this season throwing. :wizard: beat your brother:wizard: ;)

EE22, not good news about winter. I can't even phantom > shoveling. And you certainly don't need more water.:scared1:

Everyone, thanks for the support.:dance3: :grouphug: :dance3: We will have a great time. We leave tommorrow. :yay: > just for O'hare. :upsidedow and then flying early thursday morning. Looks like the 10day forecast is rain.:scared1:

Today is our last full day at home.:dance3: :mickeyjum :dance3: Very exciting!

mky:cutie:

MKY: I have no idea what time the parks really open. I have never been there that early, except for one day 2 years ago. I went with my sister, alone, but then we missed the bus. Seemed like we waited forever but we got there about at park opening (instead of early) and there were already tons of people in the park, which surprised me. What you are saying does make sense but I cannot prove it. I bet EE22 knows.

MKY- I don`t know either ....Mr. Tomar and I usually get to the parks in the afternoon....(Pool time in the morning:beach: )....but Im very sure that EE22 must know :goodvibes
Have a safe trip. !!...Have the BEST time ever !!!...Can`t wait to hear all about it !! :yay:
BTW..... bought our new Annual Passes yesterday .....(waiting for the vouchers)...

EE22- Glad your almost finished with preperations for school :teacher: ....and Im praying that this winter will be a mild one in the field of dreams ...and the forcasters are wrong !:snooty:

DL11- Congrats on your License !!:cloud9:

TP2- WE both had the nastiest weather this weekend ...YIKES !:scared1:
Ice Hail in the summer !! ...scarey !:scared:

Ugh, I am furious.:scared1: :sad1:

Family asked, what are you going to do now? I said, thinking about the mall and hit the disneystore for ap vouchures for next year. and I got the "your going back next year? theres no where else you wanna gooooooooooo"
I got up and left cause > I was gonnnnnnnnnnnnna explode. You expect that from the people at work & you put up with it. Or even your friends that are not disneyfiles. But, my own family. :scared1:

Sorry mky! I did miss it...I'm back in my mode of frantic life and miss so much! You guys will have to forgive me once school starts...I'll be behind on posts so if I don't answer...keep asking directly and if I miss important events forgive me!

Park Openings. You know we do those:rotfl:
If MK opens at 9 am with no EMH, I would arrive early if you want to be ahead of the huge crowds, and they let us in at 8:45 am and we could WALK down to the rope drops at the different lands...same at all the parks. The newbies don't know that running before 9 am does no good...as they hold you there anyway. They hold you at a rope and then at 9:00 when the official opening happens you get to make that shorter fast track to the rides. MK is at the different lands...TL is over the bridge closer to Buzz...go through the Noodle Station. AK is by the Tree of Life. MGM is at Sunset...do Toy Story first...get fast passes and ride...do RnR later and ToT...if you want too. TS fast passes were gone very early in the day and they shut down the single rider line. Star Tours was never busy. Epcot is by the fountain.

Like clockwork...they open the turnstiles 15 minutes early.
All the cute openings are at the place they hold the masses except at MK...it's by the train at the front.

I have no clue what they do on an EMH morning for the opening to the rest of the people who don't stay on property. I would not go to a park after EMH started until much later. I'd stay far away on those mornings, epecially AK...HORRIBLE!!!!

Let me know if you need more info. I'm the Queen of Rope Drop :woohoo:

MKY: No one in DH's family knows that we went....not even the grandparents because they give us so much grief about it. Their loss...we don't tell them so they saw no pictures. Very sad, but I don't want to deal with it.

You love it there...so WHO CARES. Hang with us! We understand!!! That's why I meet once a month with my Disney buddies from the store...we love Disney and it lifts our spirits.

Funny story...one of my good friends...former student of mine and worked at the DS...she comes to our Panera Saturdays. She is working on her master's and part of the program took them to Italy. Her roommate from here was talking about Disney with her...they hit the store there...She says...there is this group of women that I always see at Panera on a certain Saturday and they are always talking Disney and exchanging Disney stuff. My friend says..."oh yeah, I meet them sometimes".:rotfl:

MKY: I get it too. Just take it with a grain of salt.

So it looks like tickets go up about $10 per person per year. If I buy now for next year I save a total of $50. My concern is if a package is offered for a discount and I already have tickets. Not sure what to do but I guess I have a couple of days to decide. In the end I will probably wait because I still have unused one day tickets that I can apply once I get there next year. Of course, by next year there will be another increase so really it is a savings of $100.:scared1:

mky...I gather there is an opening at TTC too...I talked to friends from work that went and that's what they said. Don't know...they stayed off property. I have never parked at the parks and don't ever plan on it!! :scared1: I didn't ask a lot of questions as I never plan on being there in my lifetime for opening :rotfl: and I know you won't be either with a car and bus service. YUCKO CITY!!!

DD's 7 day went up $17.
I cannot remember the ages of your kids, but remember prices change at 10. That hurt!

I have no suggestions either...are the discounts on packages any good with tickets? I never paid attention.

It's harder for us TP2...our schedules are more uncertain.

You are right though...there will probably be another price increase before your trip if you go the end of August.

I remember a year they went up in Jan and then again in Aug. That was so uncool!

"My world".. makes me happy....and I can`t wait to be in it again each and every year !! :cloud9:
You go ...and have the BEST BEST time !!!!!!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :grouphug:

thanks everyone, much better and recovered. Thinking I have a limited amount of time here, tonight and tommorrow am > then we are out of here.

I do want to go somewhere else> maybe one of the disney adventures, disneyland, or DCL again.:confused3 But I don't think that is what they would suggest. :lmao:

Today is great disneyworld training here. Hot 98 and humid. Its sweltering > already feels like florida. We even have tons of mosquito's too.;)

Come with us to DL in 2011...you can tell your family you're going on a trip to DL with friends you met from the Disney posting board:rotfl: :rotfl: you've never met us in person, but DL11 and EE22 are awesome friends of yours!!

HOT here too mky. We are having strange FL downpours on one side of the street like they do too.

Can't you buy the new ap vouchers at the World or would they activate them already?

Hit the DS then or the price will go up!!!

Hi my user name is Candi and I am a Disney addict...puts a whole new meaning on the 12 steps. We could have step one admit you love it...step two, reveal how many pieces of clothing you own with chartoons on them...step three deal with the park maps you have laying around and can't part with...:lmao: :lmao:

MKY - the forcast said rain every day we were there. We were spared three days I think? Carry your rain ponchos.

We will miss you.
