June/July/August 2006 Code watch

1 day up to 10 is permitted, if available. It's been reported that folks are able to book w/o having the AP or even a voucher in hand. CM @ resort desk will ask for it @ check-in. Lately, I've been asked for my AAA number when making res via telephone?

Quick question for anyone that has AP....
Is there a minimum stay required to get AP discount?

And.....
Can you make the reservation before actually purchasing the voucher?

5boys: AP holders are waiting to see if there will be discounts offered past June 3. Right now, we just don't know. A few kind souls are calling and posting what they learn. We want to go in July and are hoping for an AP discount at a deluxe. Last July we stayed at CSR; in February we were at POR.

Cindyfan: I'm not aware of any minimum stay requirement for AP. I've never stayed for less than 4 nights though. I believe you can reserve before purchasing a voucher (with BRP, you had to enter your numbers). They always say you have to have an ACTIVE AP (not just the voucher) at check-in. I've been asked to show my AP about 1/3 of the time.

Thanx Sandi,

Now would an AP mean Annual Pass? Where I come from AP means a player that gets called up to play on your hockey team!!! LOL!!! So how does this AP work?

LOL!!! Denmark!

What does subscribing mean? I know what it means but what does it mean here? :confused3

It's a way of keeping up with a thread and not having to search endlessly for it when you need it. In the upper left corner of your screen, click on User CP. That will pull up all the threads you've subscribed to.

Talked to a CM this afternoon and he said that the ap rates should be out the begining of April. Let's hope so. He seemed sure there would be ap rates for June/July.

before that really were great. I have a future sister-in-law that says she can get great rates that she has her travel license but she also says she can do all things if you know anyone like that. I have been steadly inquiring about it but so far she has failed to actually give any info. She does not work AT a travel agency so she may have done something online or I dont know, Anyone know how a travel agent is licensed etc..?

So if you need 15 nights at Disney you can't book an AP? I always try to get the Shades of Green Overflow rate, but have never needed to use the AP rate. I was hoping to try for the AP rate this time. That stinks if you can't use it for more than 10 nights.

You can make 2 res. (i.e. 10 nights & 5 nights) and ask that they be linked in an attempt to avoid moving from your room.

good luck.
