Hopefully someone remembers from last year. The Mousavers Historical discounts chart shows the 25%-35% AP discount (good for stays through July) as being released Feb 26 last year. Wanted to make sure that actually happened as I wait/hope for it's release next week! Thanks

I've also been looking at the history on Mousesavers. I'm hoping that like last year, AP rates will be released within the next week. I'm waiting for AP rates before I book our stay.

I think it will still be a couple of weeks. I'm basing it on the fact that Disney last released PH discounts on January 12, it seems that there is usually two months between discounts. I have no real knowledge, it's just a feeling that I have. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I don't have an AP yet, but plan to buy one for our June trip.

Could someone please check if an AP rate is available for June 10th, One bedroom Beach Club Villa for 5 nights?

Looks like only the 2 bedroom is available under the passholder offer for those dates. Discount is only ~$60 a night.

Thank you for checking!

I would have jumped on that two bedroom, but $60 discount, golly, that is only about a 5% discount.

I so long for the 30% off AP discounts.

I'm with you! I just looked closer and the current AP offer only goes through June 10th. So that discount may be so ridiculous because it's only disocunting 1 night. Once the offer is extended (any day now), you may have better luck!

I'm assuming Disney World has historically offered an AP discount for mid-June/July? I'm wondering if I should book a room now, to make sure I get what I want, or if I should wait.

I was in the exact same predicament so I ended up booking something so i would have some definite availability and can look at adding the discount should it become available. A bird in the hand is worth two in a bush! ;o)

I did the same as Smittolis. We booked a room at Rack rate that we knew was in our budget. If a rate comes out we will determine if we upgrade or just try and get our current room at a better price. I would say book somewhere you would be happy staying regardless. The chances of no ap rate are slim, but the ap rates disappear quickly and they aren't offered on everything.

This is the best advice.........I wish I followed it o_O.
I lost out of Standard Room availability at the WL because I was waiting for the AP discount..................DON"T do what I did.

Ok for our end of June trip, we are already booked. But like everyone else hoping for a little discount to ease the price. We are planning to upgrade to APs on our first day in the parks since we have 3 trips planned this year. We arrive in the evening on a Saturday and are planning to upgrade Sunday morning at MK. Would we be able to call (if/when Disney releases AP discounts) and book any potential AP lower rates? In this instance we would NOT have the AP at check in but would the next day. Would we be able to swing back by the front desk to prove the AP purchase on day two of our trip or would this be an issue?

It is my understanding you need it at check in. with everything linked to DME couldn't you do it virtually on Sat? Just a thought...

Bummer. Our flight doesn't land until about 5pm and we hadn't planned to hit a park that first night. I have 7 day hopper I need to upgrade. If it's gonna be an issue I'll jut hope for regular summer discounts and use the ap discount for a later stay.

I've read many times about people successfully booking an AP rate who didn't upgrade to an AP until after they checked in. Since tickets can only be upgraded to AP's in person at Guest Relations, it's not unusual for people to upgrade after they've arrived. Has this policy changed recently?
