June hours?

Does anyone know the June hours yet? When I click on June hours on the web site it doesn't respond. Thanks.

For IOA They're listing 9-8 on Sat. the 1st then 9-7 Sunday through Thursday and 9-8 again on Friday & Sat. (7&8)

For anyone else interested, they have the same schedule the following week but starting on Friday 6/14, they are open 9-8 each day, until they go to 9-9pm on the 23rd.

Now, the Studios are listed as 9-7 all the way until the 17th, when it changes to 8pm and then it changes to 9pm starting on the 23rd.

I think I got that right, and as we all know, these can change!

Of course it's early closing time for when I'm there!
I just got an email from my sister that i'm supposed to be going with that first week of June, telling me she has a problem with the dates! How can she leave me hanging??

Why does IOA close so early in June? It will only be open until 8:00 pm during my visit and I was hoping for it to be open until at least 10:00. I know that the crowds will be huge (as they always are during the summer seasons) so what kind of chance does IOA have of extending its hours? If nothing else why can't they open the park at 10:00 and close at 9:00 or 10:00? I really enjoy riding The Hulk, Dueling Dragons, and Dr. Doom's Fearfall at night and if the park closes at 8:00 I will have very limited night rides.

Why does IOA close so early in June?

They close based on crowd trends and until about June 23rd, you don't have the full "summer crowds" in place yet. The Northeast, for example, which brings HUGE crowds to FL, isn't out of school until the end of June. So the crowds will increase in June over May, but not as much as they will for July and August.

At least that's how it usually works.

Usually shortened hours is the price you pay for lesser crowds. If the parks were open until 10, it would mean that the crowds were expected to be huge. Of course, I'm not implying you'll have the parks to yourself!
