June Hours extended

Yes, be prepared to stay up until 3 a.m.! I wish I could---but I'd regret it the next day--unless it was my last night at WDW. (am I showing my age?)

I'm glad I ran across this thread! I am one of those end of June people so I also hope they extend the hours on that part of the calendar as well! :)

WooHoo!!

Later hours at the Magic Kingdom rock!!! Now if I can convince DH and DS to make it from a hotel in St. Louis, an airplane ride with one stop, checking in at OKW, dinner at LTT, and EMH till 2am!!!! I promised they could sleep late this trip!!

The extended hours may also be a result of gay days. June 4th is designated gay day at the Magic Kingdom (not by Disney, but by the groups attending). If you are there, you may notice a lot of red shirts....

MK will probably be real crowded that day.

I sort of hope they extend some hours for the end of June, also, however we were there during Easter (and the week after) and MK had EMH every morning at 7, so I had to get my gang out the door by 6:15! It would be nice if they would just extend evening hours. It was pretty exhausting to be night owls and early birds in the same week! By the way, the buses didn't start until after 7, so it was a good thing we had our van to drive to the EMH a.m.!

I was there then too and it was exhausting BUT FUN... I will say though I did have my van but I used Disney transportation and was on the buses well before 7 every morning. I know Easter morning I was at MK at 6:50 having gotten a bus at POP early that morning and another morning I was there right at 7 coming from Saratoga Springs...so the buses were leaving well before 7.

We will be there the week of the 12-18th and I am looking forward to the longer hours...MK til 3 in the morning is ALOT of fun!

To find the Spectro schedule, go to the previous mentioned site and click on the number (looking at the calendar the date you are interested in) it will then show the parade and fireworks schedule. You can do this for every park.

We did the MK 'til 3am thing during Spring Break - the week leading up to Easter. And, so did at least 30,000 other people. It was astonishing that there were that many people willing to stay up that late. But, that's Spring Break for you. The last attraction we went on was Space Mountain. We got in line at 2:30am. We exited at 3:10a. Both sides were open and there was no FastPass to bog down the standby line. Still, at that time of the day, the line extended well out of the attraction and toward Astro Orbiter. The posted wait was 50 minutes. AT 3 AM!

I'd really love to do a super late night at MK when it's not quite that crowded. Perhaps that early June date is the ticket.

I hope it isn't that crowded that late at night!
My DD was so excited to think we would be able to stay that late! But not if it is so crowded the waits are that long. :scared1:

That's good to hear that the busses were running for EMH even at 7 am!
