June Hours extended

I wondered about the same thing. On Sat., the 11th, MK closes at 10:00 and there's only one Spectro. Then on Sunday, the 12th, its back to a later closing and two parades.

I was just getting ready to post the same thing about the hours. When I saw this thread I went to look to change the times I have on my sheet and noticed the longer hours are only for the begining of June not the end. Hopefully they will had longer hours for the whole month.

Do they do this based on crowds? If so that worries me. We're going regardless but I would like for it to be manageable. I am excited about having more Spectro's. With the way the weather was last summer we were cancelled out of seeing Fantasmic two times so this way if Spectro gets cancelled at least we'll have another opportunity to see it, I just hope it's the same for the night we have the Fantasmic dinner package. Here's hoping for mangeable crowds and decent weather, even if it isn't, it's DISNEY !!!!! And I can't WAIT!

I think they will be extended as the time gets closer to 30 days out

I posted earlier in the thread that these hours are very similar to last June and the crowds aren't that bad. We saw and did everything that we wanted to. I just don't like one Spectro a week in case it rains...one year we almost missed it when travel was down and the hours and Spectros were cut.

I sort of hope they extend some hours for the end of June, also, however we were there during Easter (and the week after) and MK had EMH every morning at 7, so I had to get my gang out the door by 6:15! It would be nice if they would just extend evening hours. It was pretty exhausting to be night owls and early birds in the same week! By the way, the buses didn't start until after 7, so it was a good thing we had our van to drive to the EMH a.m.!

Last June they never had the park opening any earlier...just extended the evenings.

Does any one know the hours of DisneyQuest From June 24 -July 1?? I cant find it any where! Why are there no EMH on June 30. This was the only day we were planing on doing EMH and they dont have any!!

Epcot is listed for EMH on June 30th.

DQ usually opens at 11:00 am and I don't remember how late they are open, but it's later in the evening.

I am also hoping they extend the hours for the end of June and add more showings of Spectro. It just makes it so hard when Spectro is only a few days a week. Maybe in a couple of weeks they will extend hours for us end of June folks. To all of you early June folks - WooHoo hope you have a blast!

Disney Quest closes at 11:00 on weeknights and midnight on weekends. I'm 99% sure that's correct.

What is going on for June 13, 14 & 15 that MK is are open till midnight??
And it is supposed to be evening EMH at MK on the 15th....does that mean they will be open till 3am!!??

Also....just FYI.... I called yesterday to check to see if we could switch from CSR to CBR for June12 - 21.... First she checked any discounts and nothing available. then she made the comment that CBR was completely booked....even rack rate.
Is that week going to be really that crowded!!??

I think we can safely expect 11pm or midnight closings just about every day in June. In a couple of weeks, I would expect them to add the hours to the 16th through 30th. And, I expect they'll add an hour or two to the 11th which is currently shown as closing at 10.

We've been up to WDW 5 times this year. Each time, the crowds have been stronger then the corresponding dates in prior, recent years. We are seeing the uptick in tourism throughout the entire state. It's a good thing for us Floridians. But, for tourists, it neccesitates wise planning.

The Unofficial Guide now has crowd levels at 8 out of 10 for all June dates after June 10th. South Florida schools end a week earlier (June 2) this year than last. Slowly, the entire state of Florida is moving towards late May school ending dates.

I'm not trying to scare anyone off. Just trying to make sure everyone knows what to expect when visiting this June.

That would be awesome!!! Just enough time to go back to the resort, change clothes, brush teeth and head out to Epcot's early morning hour!! 24 hours of Disney! My body wouldn't cooperate but its sure fun to think about!

Of course....I told the concierge's yesterday that I wouldn't be making anymore changes for our stay from June 1 - June 6....this little bit of news changed all that!
