June hours are up! ... now where should I eat?

While everyone is posting - I wanted to add my fav restaurants too...

We have eaten at a lot of the disney restaurants- these are the ones we like the best and revisit most frequently (not in any particular order):

The Brown Derby
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Port Orleans Beignets for breakfast - they are the best!
I like Boma A LOT-but DF doesn't particulary
Earl of Sandwich - has the best sandwiches for lunch and super yummy gigantic cupcakes with sprinkles.
Le Cellier is great for steak.
Victoria and Alberts - if you are planning to take formal clothes and devote an entire evening to dinner. Its a true (kind of stuffy) experience. If you are in the right mood its a night you will never forget. I can't say we go their frequently but its one of the most memorable dining experiences we have had at Disney.
We go to Mexico a lot too - we love the atmosphere, but I always have mixed opinions about the food.

Chef Mickeys obviously if you want time with the characters.

Places I would never return to - Yak & Yeti, The Rainforest Cafe, Cinderellas Royal Table (it used to be soo much better!) unless I had little princesses with me. Also we really dislike China, but I think I heard the restaurant was redone there recently - so we might have to try it again.

I almost agree that Yak & Yeti should be skipped. The Quick Service serves almost the same food. (DFi ordered something that was on both, and said the Quick Service version we better). I eaten there twice. The service just isn't right, but since Disney doesn't run it and the people that work there aren't cast members it can be hit or miss.

Tusker House is great and if you get a lunch ADR between 1p-1:40p you get free seats to Finding Nemo later in the afternoon.

I had no idea that Disney didn't run Yak & Yeti - that explains A LOT! I wonder why Disney would have someone else run it? Thats a great tip about the Tusker house - I never knew that!

Lynn I think I might have to stay at the Poly just to wake up to this!:rotfl:
That looks soo freakin amazingly YUMMY! :thumbsup2

You have to get it. Even if you don't stay at the POLY you can go there in the morning to Caprain Cooks which is their CS and order it there. We do that on the mornings we go to the MK.

I can't wait to stay there again in January though. There is nothing like having Tonga Toast delivered to your room in the morning lol!

Some of our faves:

Artist Point
Jiko
BOMA
Sci-Fi
Morocco (Restaurant Marakkesh)
Biergarten in Germany
Tusker House for Breakfast
San Angel Inn in Mexico
Yachtsman Steakhouse (we liked this soo much more than Le Cellier which we think is over-rated)

Some new ones we're trying this trip (the wedding/honeymoon trip) are:

Cape May Buffet for breakfast
O'hana (for breakfast and dinner)
1900 Park Fare for dinner (have had breakfast here before)
Kona Cafe for dinner (have had lunch here before)
Sanaa (the new restaurant at AKV) Can't wait to try this one!!
Narcoossee's
Cali Grill
