June Exercise Challenge - 54 Challengers and 40,537 minutes completed!!!

Good morning! Forgot to post my time yesterday. Had a quick 30 minute walk.

120/1000

Thanks!
Lynda

Put me down for 960 min.

I need the accountability, my walking partner is on vacation.

:welcome: We'll be your virtual walking partners! Except you won't have to wait for us to catch up with you or help us pull rocks out of our shoes.

 I just realized I did a spin class 3 times this week! :woohoo:

:cool1::cool1: You are quite the fitness guru nowadays - woo-hoo! Pretty soon, you'll have your own fitness dvd - tiki shred or something like that. Keep inspiring everyone!!!

took an hour long bike ride after work today.

An hour - that's impressive. I tried to ride for half that time and my rear end was sore for 4 days, whew!

I sort of fell off the bandwagon for May. I don't think I made my goal but I kept forgetting to check in  I'm going to be better for June. Put me down for 1000!

:goodvibes Welcome back! Getting back on the wagon will make your success in June that much sweeter!

Just some painting today. Every wall that was scrubbed and prepped is now completely painted! Just wish I could say the job was done. There's still a hallway and worst thing yet--a china cabinet to empty and move. :scared1:

Isn't it crazy that that more you do, the more you find to do? You will be so happy with those beautiful results. You should post pictures when you're finished - I'd love to see the fruits of your hard work.

Yesterday: 45 minutes of taekwondo class plus 35 minutes of running (5K)
Today: 83 minutes of running (6.3 miles)

Total: 173/1500

Ted

Great job! I'm a little confused about your minutes, though. I recorded 45 minutes for a taekwondo class yesterday - was that the same class?

My math is going like this: 45 + 45 + 35 + 83 = 208. Is that right? Definitely want for you to get credit for all of that hard work.

I'll be getting my ToT training started this week, so sign me up for 1000 minutes!

:yay: Hi, Carrie - it's great to see you on this thread! I miss our EEC group - y'all were so encouraging. Can't wait to hear about your ToT training.

Early start today. Got up, watched redbox movie, decided needed milk. So made the wise decision of walking to return movie, pick up milk, and get my healthy on :cool1: so now I have 70 minutes to add to my total.

170/900

Wow, you were busy this morning! Again, I love that recording my minutes makes me think of ways to build more activity into my day.

joining again-failed miserably in May:lmao: but aiming for 1000minutes this month

:cheer2::cheer2:Welcome back to you, too. We have such a great group here - they have inspired me already!!!

Wow - June is truly starting off with a bang for everyone - keep up that great work. :cool1::cool1:

I've updated everyone's minutes. Please let me know if I missed anything.

My minutes so far:

0/2000

June 1 - 132 mins - 8 mile power walk; 40 mins - power walk with pup
June 2 - 42 mins - power walk with pup; 105 mins - yard work that was way overdue
June 3 - 73 mins - power walk

We have had a cool front come through - it's been nice to take advantage of it.

Thanks... you are correct. The math error was mine, and it was two separate TKD classes on Friday and saturday.

These are my minutes for the weekend:

June 2 - 51 minutes running
June 3 - 100 minutes running (1 hour and 40 minutes)
Total: 151/1000

It's been a good weekend so far. I got out to go running and I made a pie for a friend's birthday. And my blog made the top 9 on a site for food bloggers called Foodbuzz! I was so surprised (and happy). My blog is the one with the strawberry basil scones. The top nine changes every day so it might not be there if you're looking at it on Monday (but the link to my blog is in my sig).

This week, I'm looking to get into the gym twice, go out for beach volleyball on Friday night and hopefully get in some more running during the week and on the weekend! Everyone is doing great so far!!

Dont you just love when inspiration like that hits? Go you!

As for me, did an hour dog walk this morning (but clocked less steps??:confused3 Figure that one out. Guess we were moving slower than usual. My knee is rather swollen and really hurts, so that might be the cause). I am currently trying to get my husband to go to the pool with me so I can do some laps, but he is not feeling it (and I am not quite brave enough to where a suit and go to the pool when people will be there by myself). I still have 3000 steps to complete tonight too! :headache: I decided to pick up the BL season mantra of "no excuses" so come hell or high water (or a really painfully swollen knee) I will at least get 10k steps today!

Hi, again --

Did you want to update your minutes? Your original was 1600 for the month. Would you rather go for 1200? Just let me know! :)

LOL - no! I still had my head in the last challenge. I'll go edit my post.

95 minutes today. Over 5 mile walk on the trails by my house. I jogged quite a bit on the way back.

215/1600

I did a 5k yesterday and then many, many errands that included walking through several stores and then the mall too.

Today I did a couple miles in new running shoes.

6/2--120 minutes
6/3-- 34 minutes

Through today: 154 minutes
