Great pics, thanks for sharing!!!

Excellent pictures! Thanks so much for sharing them with us! :)

Great pictures. Loved the anniversary pictures. I was thinking of you on "our" anniversary and how lucky you were to be cruising. Looks like you had a fabulous time.

Thanks for sharing-they are great photos!!

Was that a plate of escargot you were holding??? Yummy!! If so, where did they offer that?

Great Pictures. And a nice warm up for our August encounter! Where did DD get her hiar done? How does she like it now?

Is it time to go yet?

wonderful pics, what category stateroom were you in? Your REAS package looked nice too ;) Your DD looks to be about the same age as mine, I can't wait to show her your pics!!!

Wonderful pictures! You had some great towel animals in your room! Those are some of the best I have ever seen (and we have been on 4 cruises).

Thanks for sharing your photos!

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. What did you think of the escargo? I thought they tasted a little like garlic butter rubber bands, LOL, but at least now I can say I've tried them. And boy were they ever UGLY. LOL

I really enjoyed your pictures! You went to two of my favorite places (aside from the cruise, of course) --> 1900 Park Fare & Beaches 'n Cream! :sunny:

Great pictures Barbara!!

It was nice to see so many people in yours. There are alot of fish, scenery and more fish in ours!!!

Great photos.
Love the one of your formal night. Your son with hands in pockets looking like "When can I put my t-shirt and shorts back on!" look :)

Mickey pool sure looked busy too :)

Cheers,
Grumbo

Great pix! Thanks for posting them.

What's the story with the plate that says "Nothing"? I'm curious.

Thanks to everyone for looking at our pictures! Much of the fun of the cruise is learning from all of you and then also sharing our experiences and joys! Here are the answers to the posts above:

Lynn (Luv2Dream): HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you guys too! We both should rightly celebrate 22 years of marriage to our dh's!!! How did you celebrate your anniversary?!

KarenB: Yes, that was a plate of escargot! All of us, my dh, ds13, dd9, & myself ate these! They were actually pretty tasty in the spinach garlic butter sauce. Mind you, we bribed the kids, shame...shame... ;) We were offered those in Lumiere's on our formal evening which was Sunday evening for our rotation. Dh and I ate in Palo's for dinner on our next Lumiere's evening. You will enjoy these!

mickeyfan1: Dd9 got her hair braided at Castaway Cay. We missed getting an appointment the first day for the ship braiding. The cornrows were very good, but two beads did come out right when we got back to our stateroom. I called guest svcs. and they sent us to Treasure Ketch to have someone fix it right away. We found the beads, but they would have replaced the beads if lost too. Dd also got 3 long braids on each side. I felt they did them way too skinny and were not worth it. I saw other girls who had them done much better. Dd felt the hairbraider at CC talked too much to her friends and thus did not pay enough attention to her braiding. (I had went to shop for a few minutes while she had it done.) It may have just been this one girl (locals) on CC, but I think it would have been even better if my dd had it done on the ship. Make sure they show you the patterns you can have on paper. We did not know this was available until another girl was shown the examples after she was in braiding. Take your time to choose the beads, place them against your dd's hair for her to see. Makes a difference! It appears that you must sign up for the braids on ship the first day or appts. are booked by the second day...at least this was our experience! Have fun, the girls love this, it was worth it even at CC.

Hi westjones! Thanks for your input on our towel animals, we thought they were wonderful too! Our stateroom hostess was Violeta from Poland and she was outstanding! She was leaving on June 19th for a six week vacation home. We were very lucky to have her!

CRSNDSNY - Thanks! Going to 1900 Park Fare and Beaches N Cream helped smooth over our sadness of leaving the ship! It was fun!

musicgirl - Know we love you guys!!! Bill got some AWESOME underwater photos!!! Kudos to you guys!

GRUMBO - LOL at ds...he had that look in most of our pictures, true to his teen nature! All you families with teens - read the Time magazine article on the teen brain and their accompanying behaviors - all it right on target! Or talk to musicgirl's dh who is a teacher of this population! His stories will make you LOL over and over again!!!!!!! BTW Grumbo, I was looking for Costco's on this trip for your dw. ;)

Land-and-Sea" We sat at a table for lunch one day at Parrot Cay with a grandma and her two grandaughters. We usually would not post others photos, but this was too funny! The granddaughter asked for "nothing" for dessert, so our waiter brought her this plate of "nothing!!!" We enjoyed this family lots too, did they ever have funny stories! I'll try to remember to post them in my trip reports!

Thanks again all!

Barbara

bobsuzla: We were in a Category 9 and loved it! We were on deck 2 aft with a porthole. The staterooms had plenty of room and LOTS of storage. I was very happy and pleased!

KyCruisinSusan: Susan, good for you trying the escargot, you only live once! Ours were actually tender and looked to me like cooked oysters. I was surprised that I actually enjoyed the taste. Congrats on being adventurous!!!

Bye all, and thanks again! Hopefully I replied to everyone now!

Barbara

Thanks for sharing your photos!! Did your son ever smile? Or was he just tired of all the picture taking? Looks like you made some special memories with your family! How cool!!

Hopefully I will learn how to share our photos. We just got back yesterday from our land/sea trip and DH loaded our digital pictures onto the computer while I took our 35 mm. film rolls to the 1 hour photo shop (all 14 rolls!!!) Don't even ask how much that cost!
