Thanks to everyone for looking at our pictures! Much of the fun of the cruise is learning from all of you and then also sharing our experiences and joys! Here are the answers to the posts above:
Lynn (Luv2Dream): HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you guys too! We both should rightly celebrate 22 years of marriage to our dh's!!! How did you celebrate your anniversary?!
KarenB: Yes, that was a plate of escargot! All of us, my dh, ds13, dd9, & myself ate these! They were actually pretty tasty in the spinach garlic butter sauce. Mind you, we bribed the kids, shame...shame...

We were offered those in Lumiere's on our formal evening which was Sunday evening for our rotation. Dh and I ate in Palo's for dinner on our next Lumiere's evening. You will enjoy these!
mickeyfan1: Dd9 got her hair braided at
Castaway Cay. We missed getting an appointment the first day for the ship braiding. The cornrows were very good, but two beads did come out right when we got back to our stateroom. I called guest svcs. and they sent us to Treasure Ketch to have someone fix it right away. We found the beads, but they would have replaced the beads if lost too. Dd also got 3 long braids on each side. I felt they did them way too skinny and were not worth it. I saw other girls who had them done much better. Dd felt the hairbraider at CC talked too much to her friends and thus did not pay enough attention to her braiding. (I had went to shop for a few minutes while she had it done.) It may have just been this one girl (locals) on CC, but I think it would have been even better if my dd had it done on the ship. Make sure they show you the patterns you can have on paper. We did not know this was available until another girl was shown the examples after she was in braiding. Take your time to choose the beads, place them against your dd's hair for her to see. Makes a difference! It appears that you must sign up for the braids on ship the first day or appts. are booked by the second day...at least this was our experience! Have fun, the girls love this, it was worth it even at CC.
Hi westjones! Thanks for your input on our towel animals, we thought they were wonderful too! Our stateroom hostess was Violeta from Poland and she was outstanding! She was leaving on June 19th for a six week vacation home. We were very lucky to have her!
CRSNDSNY - Thanks! Going to 1900 Park Fare and Beaches N Cream helped smooth over our sadness of leaving the ship! It was fun!
musicgirl - Know we love you guys!!! Bill got some AWESOME underwater photos!!! Kudos to you guys!
GRUMBO - LOL at ds...he had that look in most of our pictures, true to his teen nature! All you families with teens - read the Time magazine article on the teen brain and their accompanying behaviors - all it right on target! Or talk to musicgirl's dh who is a teacher of this population! His stories will make you LOL over and over again!!!!!!! BTW Grumbo, I was looking for Costco's on this trip for your dw.
Land-and-Sea" We sat at a table for lunch one day at Parrot Cay with a grandma and her two grandaughters. We usually would not post others photos, but this was too funny! The granddaughter asked for "nothing" for dessert, so our waiter brought her this plate of "nothing!!!" We enjoyed this family lots too, did they ever have funny stories! I'll try to remember to post them in my trip reports!
Thanks again all!
