Timeshare resorts are based on points used and that should NEVER go up. Each week/unit size has an affixed point value.

The number of points required stay the same, but the cost of the points do go up (maintenance fee).

Also as this resort becomes more popular, it is becoming harder to fully maximize the discount and upgrades that are available to the Plat owners. They may not want to set a price this far out that assumes fully maximizing these i.e. they are passing the risk of not getting these in their pricing.

I got a great quote from Laru Resorts too for 5 nights. How were they to work with? We are very close to signing but I haven't heard much about them.

Hi! Sorry I didn't notice your questions on the other thread until today. I had a very good experience with LARU Resorts. I was a little worried too since this was my first time booking a Wyndham reservation like this, and I hadn't heard much about them either, but it all went smoothly.

I sent Larry a deposit approximately 5 months in advance, he made my reservation, then I paid the balance about 1 month prior to our stay and he sent a guest confirmation in my name at that time. He was prompt with answering my questions and providing information. Everything went smoothly when we arrived at the resort and we had a great stay! I would definitely book with them again!

we stayed in june of this year and paid 125 a night total for a 3 bedroom unit

I was thinking we would do a 2 bedroom, but if 8 could get a 3 bedroom for that price it would be so great. No one would have to sleep on the couch pull-out.
