June at Universal

I'm not a Universal newbie, but I've only ever been in August, the last seven years. My sister is coming as part of her 30th birthday gift I'm considering taking her to Universal. She's obsessed with Harry Potter. How are the crowds in June? Would it be worth it to stay at a hotel for the night to get the EP?

Because it's summer, it's going to be more crowded than normal. Depending on the day of the week, crowds may be less. Weekend days are going to be busier than weekdays, so if you can plan for a weekday it may be better. EP through a hotel may be a good idea, plus the other benefits of staying on site.

Yes staying onsite at a hotel with EP would be very helpful. Beautiful hotels, short distance to the parks and you'll get two full days of EP!

When in June are you going? Looking at June of last year I can see that early June was less busy than later on.
