How busy would this time period be. Will soarin' be open by then? Will BTMRR be open?

It will be very busy, crowded, and hot, but if you plan well you can still have a great trip

Also thinking about a trip around this time. It sounds like there's a decent chance that Soarin' will reopen. I hadn't heard about a BTMRR closure. Is that scheduled to be down in June?

We went from 5/26-6/6 this past year. The crowds steadily grew toward the end of our trip, but we're still manageable with a good plan.

It did get more stormy as the trip went on.

I didn't think it was overly hot.

We will be there June 5-10. We haven't been in June befor, but have been several times at Christmas so I don't think we will be too shocked. I'm expecting crowds but not capacity and heat/humidity but not the worst Florida has to offer. Plan your touring and take a midday break (or find indoor attractions at that time) to help with the heat. We are crossing our fingers for Soarin'! Enjoy your trip!

How does that time frame look in comparison to the week leading up to easter? We did that week last year and are doing June this year...

We were there this time last year (we usually go in the Fall or Winter for the last 10 years) and it was very busy and very hot. A number of S. Am tour groups were there at the time as well, which makes it more crowded and crazy. IDK if Soarin will be open yet or not, I know it closes after today and they said about 6mos was the goal for refurbish and reopen but that all depends on if Disney is on schedule and stays on schedule the whole time.

The biggest advice for this time of year is continuously apply SPF 30+ sunblock, stay hydrated and take a midday break if possible. Oh and have fun!

We were there last June (4-14) and are planning on this June (7-19). We found it to be crowded, but not unmanageable, hot, but not scorching, and alot of fun!
