I am always looking to save a buck. We are staying at the Marriott Grande Vista for the week, so it's not on WDW property. Anybody know of any coupons available (I'm willing to print them on-line or subscribe via email) for restaurants, attractions etc for that week?

Thank you :)

Sure there are, but what you're asking is a rather vague question --- how about trying to google for Orlando / Kissimmee attactions discounts / restaurant coupons or something similar...or going to resturant.com.

Try signing up for the loyalty club of someplace you like to eat. Most will send you some sort of welcome gift.

My family will be there June 7-14! If you happen to find any great offsite deals, I'd love a heads up! We're a family of 6 staying offsite and feeding my brood isn't always cheap! I've been checking out restaurant.com, signing up at local restaurant mailing lists, etc....

Good luck!

We usually have a full kitchen but this time we don't. The resort we like was too full. I've never used restaurant.com before, how does that work?

I haven't bought anything yet, but the jist of it is that you can buy gift certificates for restaurants. Example...you can buy a $25 gift cert for say $10, but your minimum purchase will have to be $37.50. The denominations go up to $100 for 50 bucks, sometimes higher. There are also discount codes to use that can make that $25 cert only $4. My problem is that I don't know anything about the restaurants in the Orlando area and it seems like TripAdvisor has a perfect mix of people who love and hate each restaurant I've read reviews on. Ugh.

Check it out, you might find something worthwhile.

Have you paid for your hotel room yet?

I don't know if there are Krogers in Boston; however I buy Marriott gift cards at Krogers. They offer 2X fuel points on gift cards, so every $100 I spend on gift cards, I get 20 cents off a gallon of gas with a maximum of (I think) 30 gallons. I'm hoping they have their annual Father's Day day gift card sale soon, where it's 40 cents off a gallon of gas for every $100 of gift cards.

So far, Marriott is the only hotel gift card sold. I bought $300 of Marriott gift cards for our trip to Nashville last weekend (daughter's wedding). And we're staying at a Marriott next month for my nephew's wedding in Cleveland.

That sounds like a GREAT deal. We don't have Kroger's in Boston and I already paid for the resort as its a time share trade. I will look to see if they have Marriott gift cards at our local supermarkets. We can at least use them for drinks and food at the resort. Thanks for the heads up!

My family will be staying there at the same time too! In regards to restaurant.com, I have used it with GREAT success. Bought certificates to use at House of Blues at DTD, BB Kings near convention center, Giordano's and several others...The catch is will your crew order the minimum amount? We travel with another family so there is no problem for us in meeting it. I agree the reviews are hit and miss on many of the restaurants on the website but I have been fortunate enough to have great meals at the ones I visited. If you are wanting to keep costs down you will do better to go to burger, chicken type chain restaurants as the ones listed on restaurant.com are sit-down type places. One last thing, look for visitor pamphlets/brochures as there are always coupons for restaurants in there - cheap breakfasts for Golden Corral, Indian and Japanese food type places, even kids eat free deals at nicer restaurants too. And there is a card you can buy for Orlando called kids eat free - they sell them on ebay and other websites too. Don't remember the rules for it but have heard folks saving a good bit of cash with it.

We have a Restaurant.com coupon for Crossroads at House of Blues - Downtown Disney and was wondering if anyone has used one of them there?
It doesn't say booze is excluded so it should be good for meal and booze but just wanted to check. THANKS!
