June 7 mos switch to BLT/BWV

We have a trip planned June 3-11, 2015, currently booked at our home VWL in a studio. I'm taking DD for a girls trip to celebrate her 16th BD. We are hoping to try for a split stay at BLT and BWV. Do you think we have a chance and which will be the easier to get? I'm assuming we'd get BLT Lake View and BWV pool/garden if anything, but we'll take whatever is available. My tentative plan is to try for the first 3-4 days at BLT and the last 3-4 at BWV. Does this sound reasonable? Thanks!

Yes, i think you have a good chance, especially since you are so flexible about room category. Because you only need 3 - 4 days you might even have a chance at BW or standard view at BWV.

BWV pool/garden view, BLT lake view, and BLT theme park view were open at 7 months out for the time you want in June in both 2013 and 2014. BLT standard was full for all room sizes most of the nights. BWV standard and boardwalk view studios and 2BRs were missing enough nights that it would not have been possible to get four nights in a row but could possibly find three; 1BRs in both of those view categories were open for the entire time.

Thank you! I'm all ready to start booking. Her BD is during spring break so she has to wait almost 3 mos. after that for the trip. On her birthday, I'll give her a folder with all of the trip info, flights, rooms, dining reservations. She asked me to keep it all a secret until her birthday. It will be so fun to surprise her with the details.

I can tell you that I have a studio standard view at BLT for June 3rd to June 13, 2015 that I am most likely going to cancel when I can book AKL in November.

Well that's good news Sparkie. Hopefully I'll be booking BLT on Nov. 3rd right after you cancel. AKV is our backup choice in case we can't get BLT. Hope we both get our 1st choice!
