June 6th Stimulus Checks?

Anyone get them? The notice I received last week said I should receive it *by* June 6th. It comes to my PO Box in another town so I don't want to trek over there if they aren't coming on time.

Ah okay. The notice I received did say "you should recieve your check no later than June 6th", so I assumed they were being mailed prior to the 6th. Thanks!

The checks mailed on the 6th are supposed to arrive no later than July 4th. What was the expected mailing date for your check?

Verbatim from my IRS letter:

"You can expect your payment by 6/6/08. If you do not receive it within six weeks of this notice, please contact us at the number shown above." To me that means they were not mailed on 6/6/08, they were mailed prior to the
6th, hence the statement that "You can expect your payment by 6/6/08." Obviously I'm incorrect in thinking it was mailed prior to.

Oh good! I thought for sure there was some scheming (ps) in MN courts somehow maybe ex-wife of DH was getting our check. You never know with MN as their child support laws suck beyond belief. Totally screwed up there. Anyway...sorry for the tangent. I was scared to death we wouldn't be going to WDW afterall this year.

Hey, I'm a 28 too! My IRS letter clearly states something like "Your check should be received by June 6th". I think I got my income tax refund 2-3 days after my "mail" date on that.

I certainly hopes it comes soon. Originally I was planning on going to Disney with it, but I had to buy a new van; and the seller is anxiously looking for the money!

DH is "26" and ours was in todays mail. Can't wait to payoff bills and but some away for trip to my sisters in Chicago. Taking kids to Kalahari Resort so this will come in handy!!

With direct deposit it was in the bank the day they said. So give the USPO a couple more days to get it to you. Mine is going for gas to get to Fort Wilderness.

My mom called the IRS a few days ago, they are about a month behind in checks. My mom was supposed to be in the May 16th group and she is now supposed to be mailed a check June 13th.
