June 5 to June 24: Barcelona to Dover AND First Baltic cruise BACK 2 BACK CRUISERS

Good Morning cruisers!

Still windy and cold, but neither as extreme as yesterday, wind down to 25 mph, temp up to 35 degrees. Never even left house yesterday, but did get some of my projects in the basement done. Today is packing up for weekend trip (it is amazing how much time it takes to put together a weekend trip!), cleaning the house, and maybe getting in a short dog walk.

Have a great day everyone!

Just wondering if anyone is planning on staying on the boat during the hours we aren't allowed in the room. Our family was hoping to get the laundry done during this time, but we also know we want to explore parts of Dover. What are your ideas?

By the way, classicalcinderella is missing its "al" :rotfl:
But I like ClassicCinderella better, wish that was our name. :upsidedow

We were never kicked out of our room on the B2B, our stateroom host knew we were staying so he just did the normal stuff and did not turn the room over. After we did our own private tour of the ship we went back to stateroom and took a little nap and then got up at 11:45 a.m. and headed to the atrium to see people board the ship.

Good Morning cruisers! We went to Missouri for the weekend to visit Scott's parents, it was a good trip. We came back and prepared the house for the party. Our “Opening of the Adventurers Club – West” party last night was a success. We both ran up and down stairs so many times during the evening that I think we both got our workouts in! We now have tons of food left – you know, the junk food that you always serve at a party! We will be eating Buffalo Chicken and mini soufflés for a week! On the good side, we also have a big veggie tray left!

It is very windy here today, high wind warning in effect until tomorrow sometime – currently blowing at 27mph with gusts to 47, warning is for 45-55mph winds. Our yard is getting full of tumbleweeds, I need to go push them out of the yard so they will blow to Nebraska!

Scott is on the road today, he says Hi to everyone, does not think he will get a chance to post for a day or so.

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning Cruisers!

Really ugly here today – got about 2-4 inches of snow overnight, and it is windy – my wind gauge has frozen, but weather guy says 25mph wind with gusts to 45mph! The wind chill index is 6 degrees. High today will be 33 degrees. We have some good drifts in the backyard. The dogs would not go outside this morning, they have finally braved the wind and are outside now (probably wanting to come back in – be back in a minute).

Scott is still out of town, decided to stay overnight and finish up this morning, hoping that he will not have to go back there next week. He was planning to be back in Cheyenne around noon, but weather might delay him a bit.

Have a great day!

Hopefully he gets home safe. Be careful with the wind - I bet you can get a real nasty "burn" from it!

Made it home, with lots o work to do so will be in the office some this weekend, Bummer was looking forward to a do nothing time.

THE ROADS WERE REALLY ICY AND WINDY FPOR THE LAST 50 MILES, dang cap lock on the MAC... LOL

Yesterday and today are nice, yesterday it was sunny, temps in the 40's and NO WIND!!!! Today should get up into the 50's, sunny and so far NO WIND!!!

Scott really enjoyed yesterday not having to head to the basement for some project - so we spent the day installing a new Wii - then Scott spent several hours playing the Endless Ocean game!! Today he has to do some computer work:sad2:

Have a great day!

Good Morning Cruisers!

Weather is beautiful today, sunny, high to be 61 degrees, winds light! That should continue all week!!!!!

Have a great day everyone!

I am most likely not going to be around for a couple of days. I have to make an emergency trip to Potosi Missouri. My 102 year old grandmother passed away early this morning, I have to fly out there and then I return on Friday. I may not be posting while I am out there.

Good Morning cruisers!

Well, I survived my long walk! It was actually 2 walks, one loop of 11 miles with the dogs, then a short stop at home to use bathroom, drop off tired dogs, eat a Kashi bar, and refill my water bottle, then out for a 7 mile loop. The actual milage was 18.53 miles, pace was 16:35 – not fast enough to beat the sweepers, but I was not pushing the speed, just walking at a comfortable pace. I almost feel ready for the Marathon in Jan.

We have put up a bird feeder next to the bird bath, and the finches are just flocking to it, it is right outside the window next to the computer, so I get to watch the birds while trying to keep up on the boards! The only problem is that I cannot make any sudden moves, or all the birds spook and fly off. I am literally no more than 4 feet from the bird feeder!

Cayla – sorry to hear of the sad news, you will be in our thoughts and prayers!

Have a great day everyone!

I am very sorry for your loss. I wish you and your family peace.

Good Morning Cruisers!

It has turned cold here, after mid 60’s yesterday, high today will be 30 degrees, with freezing fog, freezing drizzle and snow – sounds beautiful doesn’t it? :scared1:

Have a great day everyone!

bump - we can't be falling off the top here....can we?

Good Morning cruisers

We spent part of the weekend putting up some of our icicle lights – we surround the house with them. It is very difficult to put them up in wind, and it seemed like the wind picked up each day just as we got the ladders out! But we did manage a few strands. Hopefully it will be calm this weekend and we can get the rest of them up.

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning Cruisers! Was too busy to make it to the boards yesterday – but got all my shopping for Thanksgiving out of the way!

We have been working on the icicle lights in the evenings, last evening was calm and we managed to get up several strands – hopefully tonight will be calm also so we can get a couple more up. That should leave only one or 2 left for the weekend, and the forecast is not great for the weekend – it is supposed to get cold and some snow. The wind is the hardest when up on a ladder, and holding long strings of lights, the static decorations will be easier to put up in the wind!

Weather has been really nice all week!

Have a great day, and a great Turkey Day tomorrow!

The Lights are on!!!!!!

Small Balcony would be fun to decorate, not too labor intensive.

Good Morning Cruisers! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had a quiet dinner at home, turkey breast, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie! Now we have lots of left over’s (I love left over’s).

We are really glad we started the Christmas lights early – the weekend conditions were not conducive to being on a ladder – windy and cold all weekend. We did not get as much done on the inside of the house as I would have liked, we decided to take advantage of the great deals and bought a new car – jeep 4-door wrangler – then had to make room in the garage for it as we did not trade in the old jeep. We had to move the motorcycles and bicycles to the barn to empty out a space in the garage.

Beautiful sunrise this morning! Still windy though.

Cayla, yes, we like decorating our balcony when we would go to WDW for Christmas! Doesn't take much, just a couple strings of lights!

Have a great day!

Good Morning Cruisers!

My cold is getting worse, I coughed up a storm last night, had to move to the guest bedroom at 3am so as not to wake up Scott with another coughing fit! I am really wiped out today! I am just very thankful that it is all in my chest and not in my head, I would really be a hurting puppy if my head were stuffy also.

It is snowing and cold today, think I will confine my activities to working on Christmas cards, ordering Christmas gifts, and working on afghans I am trying to finish before Christmas. As today is laundry day, I will get my exercise climbing stairs. The dogs have not gotten off the bed since I fed them this morning!

Have a great day everyone!
