Well, with all the computer problems at the port it was a nightmare. Got to the port at 1:30 after the hotel bus was 45 minutes late. It all worked out great in the end. Moved from 2118 to 8580. They had pages of empty Cat 4 family rooms available. Getting ready to go to dinner!

In Lisbon today. The cruise is great thus far. Saw Villians Tonight last night. We got on in Gibraltar as planned. Took pictures of the Magic as she came into port. All of the captains are on board this week and there will be a question-answer session Friday afternoon with the Castaway Club members.

We are in internet cafe in main square, only 2.50 euro for 30 minutes. So needed to check my email and stuff.

I have my blog started, but having trouble posting. Hopefully, I´ll get posted soon.

Back to the vacation! (Oh, I forgot my fish extender at home also!)

I have a HUGE Dis favor request....

I was on the TA in May and loved a lemon quartz ring in Treasure Ketch. I am regretting not purchasing it and would like to buy it now that I'm off the ship. It was the only lemon quartz ring they had, I believe. It has diamonds around it and on white gold or silver?? I'd love to know if it's still on the ship. My friend is sailing on the 24th and she could buy it for me, if it's available.

we are on baltic in a month. glad to hear the Magic has made it to Europe.... very interesting times on the continent.

what is it like? i'm sure the excursions are typical, but how are they treating the ship time? is it the same old shows? is the cast excited? Sounds like the ship was fairly empty given your upgrade... yes?

Cor! What a week!

Back home in Brighton. 2nd load of washing in the machine, daughter going nuts over all the gifts she received in the Fish Extenders.
Absolutely excellent week.
I really need to say thank you for all those lovely gifts that were in the FE's. Every evening going back to our cabin and Gaby finding a gift (on top of all the treats and wonders she had each day), it was lovely. There were some truly lovely presents.

We are now DCL converts and will be booking the caribbean for next year. I have another cruise on the NCL Epic to do in October.

I will update in more detail later, once I've emptied suitcases of contents, washed, cleaned, filled car with petrol, shopped....I'll need another holiday after this.

What an amazing 7 days. The Magic totally overwhelmed me, truly wondeful.
I am struggling to get to get to grips with reality...What's for dinner tonight and what will towel animal will I get??!

It was great to meet those of you who we mangaged to catch up with, and I also wanted to say a huge thank you to all who participated in the FE. We have received some wonderful gifts and we all enjoyed going out and about to deliver ours.

Thank you to all who have given wonderful advice in the lead up to the cruise, it was certainly made more magical because of the hints and tips i've read on here.

Now......which cruise next

Thanks for all the FE gifts. Have just finished unpacking and can't believe how generous people were.

Lovely to meet up with you all, hope the US brigade have managed to get to London OK and get their flights. Safe onward journey.

There are still those on here that I didn't meet, sorry about that, but it seemed to be a few we bumped into again and again, yet others we didn't see.......!

Still swaying slightly - not got my land legs yet!

Thanks again everyone, we had a great time, exhausting, but satisfying!!!

Just arrived back in Germany...after 5 hrs of being stuck at Heathrow. Will update later! Thanks again for all of the FE gifts...I almost needed a 4th suitcase!

Have arrived back home in Leed after a 4 hr car journey in the most horrid little Kia rental car I have ever rented..Am shattered going to bed!! but before I do thanks to all for the wonderful gifts they are most appreciated I hope every one gets home ok and we are already looking forward to january 2011

Lisbon was really great. There is a hop on/off bus you can do that takes you to pretty much all of the main sites. We took a local bus up to the castle on the top of the hill which was really amazing and had fantastic views of the city. There is so much to do there, I really want to go back!

Me and Disneymom7851 have officially made it back to Texas and are officially back at work.

Only about 500 emails piled up in my inbox!

We took the train into London after debarkation...tried to see the Queen, but missed her by 20 minutes. She didn't wait for me! Can you imagine? Got discount tickets at TKTS and saw SISTER ACT in the afternoon and LOVE NEVER DIES that night. The England v US game was going on while we were in the show. As we were heading to the theater everything around Trafalgar and Leicester squares was SOOO crazy with people all dressed up and cheering....then as the show let out I noticed it was now very quiet. 1-1 tie game changed the mood of the city, it seemed. It was a bit weird to have been in London for such a small amount of time.

Anyway, it was such a pleasure to meet all of you, it made the trip so much more fun! We loved the Palo brunch...and of course the party bus! I can't believe it is already over.
