Hey Chickadee! Tell your mom that I am taking a "pantsuit" for the dressy night that is thin black pants and a top with short cap sleeves and v-neck. The top has white polka dots. I am taking another top with me that I can wear with the same pants on another night. Some moms are taking dresses. Just depends on your comfort level. Mine is something that I would wear again out to dinner in the summer to a nice restaurant. My DH and DSons are wearing kackis and polo shirts or tropical shirts depending on the nights. I doubt that they are taking a coat and tie. Hope that helps.

Total excitement in this household as well!
This weekend we hit the one month point to when we leave for The World.
This is a vacation of firsts for us.
1st Star Wars Weekend
1st EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival
1st trip to Blizzard Beach:

AND..... 1st Disney Cruise!!!!!

DH and DS10 are even starting to weigh in with ideas. I didn't want to burst their bubbles and tell them it's really too late and this trip is planned down to the last detail.

I must say without all you guys and the DISBOARDS I would be lost.
Sooo much help.

Only 36 days to we sail away!! YEAH!!!! Anyone started packing yet? We are all excited. Still havent' decided on any excursions as of yet. Might not do any, might just relax this trip. DD wants to stay in kids clubs most of the trip. Will probably have to make both kids spend time with us whether they want to or not. Anyone going down the night before? Anyone going to Disney World after the cruise? We are planning a couple of nights at POP Century after the cruise. Just booked it today.

Hi Guys! We are counting the days! Yes, actually we are going to Disney for 2 days before the cruise,(we wanted to catch Hermans Hermits) and then we are going back for 9 days after. We will be at the BWV's. Can't wait! I haven't really started packing, but I have started stocking up on suntan lotion and a few other supplies and thinking about what else I will need.

Well i think that my parents said that we are going to stay in like Coco beach or something the night befor the trip!
But I know that we are staying somewhere!
Our family hasn't started packing yet!

But I'm soon that we will after I'm out of school!
What ages are all of your kids!

Hello Chickadee, we will be staying in Cocoa Beach the night before the cruise too. I have two children DD9 and DS 14 and they are both really excited. This will be their second DCL cruise on the Wonder. We are all excited and we are counting down the days. Our flight leaves one month from tomorrow! and the next day we all board the ship!

We are all looking forward to seeing POTC while we are on board. What are you plans for Nassau? My kids want to stay on board, but I plan on them exploring a little of the island in the am and back on board the ship in the pm.

Chickadee, we will be in WDW the night before the cruise and then in Nassau we are doing the Atlantis Beach Day. On Castaway Cay we will probably rent some tubes and my DS wants to rent that 3 wheel trike that goes in the water. My kids are DS-16 and DS almost 13. Can't wait!!!

Good news for those of you who wanted to book the parasailing excursion on Castaway Cay. It is now up and running again. We just went on the website and booked our flight. If some of ya'll are still interested check it out.

Well I have a brother who is 16 and I'm 13!
As for Nassau i'm not really sure!? I bet that my parents will be in control I think that they are going to make me get off! v

Hello Tridarick, Yes my DD9 will be in the lab. Maybe the girls can get to play together while in there. She is really excited. On our last DCL cruise, we had to make her leave the the kids programs.

This is our first cruise so it would great if our DD9 knew she would have someone to play with at the lab.

Yes it would be great. My DD9 will be by herself in the club because older brother will be in the teen area and when he isn't in there he will be with DH and me. It would be great for them to play together in the club.

Hi all! We're getting too close to cruise day to let our thread get this low.

I've decided that parasailing isn't that frightening (if Samantha Brown can do it on the Travel Channel then I can also!) and I've booked myself and my DD (13) and DS (10). DD is actually away at Outdoor School this week and doesn't know about this; she may not be willing to do it, but I will cancel her if needed.

We're going to Universal the week before our cruise (believe it or not we're getting rather tired of WDW ). I'm really living on the edge this vacation as I've committed myself to riding the Incredible Hulk Coaster and the Jurassic River Adventure. Keep in mind that my DH is such a wimp that he won't ride Splash Mountain, so I really am the family daredevil!

I'll be right there with you on the parasailing excursion! Scared but willing to give it a try.
DH and DS (10) are totally into it. I think we're booked for the 11am slot.

Sorry we haven't been on the board more--- but don't ya'll think May is as crazy as December? So much stuff going on at school, sports and I'm trying to work out.

I still want to do a door magnet, but I'm not sure if we'll actually get to it.
Anyone else done one?

We should all try to at least say "Hi!" when we're on board. Any thoughts?

MM, I hope you're correct about the 11 am booking as that is when we're booked also!

I'm game for meeting up on board. Anybody else? Several of us have kids about the same age. I really have a need to get a 13 yo DD involved with other kids - she's very fond of staying in the cabin and watching DVD's on her laptop.

I'm not very savvy when it comes to door magnets - I don't think I'll even try!

14 days until Pirates 3 comes out! Actually I've heard that there will be some 8 pm showings on the 24th, but I probably won't see it until the 25th. I plan on watching it on the Wonder also as it will probably take me 2 or 3 showings to figure it all out.
