June 29, 2008 - Magic - West Coast!!!!

Seriously, I will know where you all are when I hear the laughter! You are a riot!

I have a funny(ish) story for you all! Last night, as I was packing some stuff I didn't realize that a grate had been removed from the floor that I was working on and the vent was an open hole. You can guess what happened next...yup, I stepped right into it. Tears came immediately. It hurt for heaven's sake!! I pulled my lower leg out and, thank goodness, no blood, just a 3.5 inch scrape/bruise that will look lovely with all the cute outfits I bought for the trip!!! Now I am hysterical because I don't want this giant bruise on my leg for our honeymoon. Dh goes downstairs to get me some ice and starts calling me to come down - he sounds ticked. I walked downstairs to find a 3 foot hole in our TV room cieling!!!!! I stepped THROUGH my ceiling! Who does that?!?!?! Now DH is annoyed, there is dust everywhere, I am hysterical again! So I called my dad who immediately tells me that its no big deal, he can fix it and is coming over tonight to do it. So it could have been way worse then it was. At least its just a bruise and a hole in a ceiling!!!! It will be a funny story to tell our kids one day and a great starter to the TR I will write when I get back!

DH and I are leaving for our honeymoon on Thursday morning and going to DL for 3 days before the cruise so I won't be around past like now bcause Ihave to get alot done. I hope you all have safe travels and have fun getting ready for the cruise!!!! See you there!!! Soooo exciting!

Sorry to hear about your leg MickeyAnne!!!! That is totally crazy!!!! Cool of your dad to fix it though Have a great time in Disneyland. Our temps have cooled off. It is down in the 80's now. It will be perfect for you guys........112 hours until our cruise

Wow! Does my ticker really say 4 days til I get to start my vacation??? Patrick called the kennel yesterday just to confirm everything...they're sooo excited Casey's coming!! I just love that stuff! He's going to be well taken care of I need to go to the bank and get tip money today...I actually have one suitcase packed and ready! Only 4 more to go! Ok, so I'm rambling....I'll check back latuh ::cop:

i should start packing soon. I was so bored one day i made a list of day by day outfits and what days were formal night and what days we were in port. i felt so organize. This is anti-britt behavior.

EVERYTHING is going to be perfect for our cruise!!!!!!!!!! It is going to be the best week of our lives!!!!!!!!!! I am ready to come out of my skin!!!! I am sooooooo excited. I am going to have to keep it together when I walk on that ship. This has been a dream of mine for a very long time. On a scale of 1-------10, this is a 100

Ok...so I'm kinda bummin' I talked with Mick's (my oldest) dr. She said if I even THINK of taking him out in the humidity down there she's turning me in!! See, he's got asthma, and the littlest bit of humidity makes it hard for him to breathe. So, I had to cancel our excursion in PV I called DCL this afternoon to see if I could just keep the reservation, and wait and see what the weather was like then cancel if it seemed to bad...but they said no. I'd still be charged....and it was almost $400. So, I cancelled...but thinking positively, we'll find something else to do. But I can't risk it...his health is too important. Funny thing is, Tori saw the bright side of it all....she said, "Mom, we could so totally buy like 10 more souveniers with that money" Thank you Tori!!! ::cop:

Yeah...we've kind of battled with his asthma since birth pretty much. He's getting better as he gets older, but there are those things that still trigger it. Poor guy!! I just didn't want the kids to be disappointed....everything will turn out GREAT! They actually are ok with staying on the ship...I'd just hate to be two and a half hours away without his nebulizer...that would be a complete NIGHTMARE Anyway, so that's that

How totally cool!! My problem is I keep finding stuff that I 'might' need....UGH!! So there's an extra errand and extra packing space!! STOP THE MADNESS!! (don't really know why I'm adding that guy...)

I like that guy!!!! I also saw that after the first showing of a new movie (like Wall-E) they keep showing it the following days at the other theater. That would be fun!!!
