I get sick on small boats, in cars if I am not driving, on a bus if I sit in the back, and in a plane if we have lots of movement. But, I have not gotten sick on the Magic. Weird. I asked Captain Thord and he told me about the devices they have under the ship to stabilize the ship. He said it helps with the movement. I am so glad we have Captain Thord as our captain. I really like him. He is so friendly. He even invited us up to the bridge. My older son got to ring the Mickey horn and my little son got to drive the ship and wear the captains hat. It was really cool.

oh - gosh - I don't get sea sick - I am so sorry about you having a bad reaction to the patch.
My DH will go on his FIRST cruse ever on the PC Repo - and he's worried. Now, we sail on the San Francisco Bay - and it can be rough. He's never been bothered - but - this is the OCEAN!! Hopefully he'll be fine - but sometimes its mind over matter - so I'm bringing along some meds for him.
Oh well!!

My first experience with sea sickness....mind you I get EXTREMELY car sick. I went on a women's only cruise almost 2 years ago...thought I'd be disgustingly sick on a RCCL out of San Pedro......Didn't feel a thing!! Small ship, and first cruise...I was truly expecting to be disgustingly sick. Nothing. Not that it's everyone's experience, but I've been carsick since age 3. I prepared myself to the n'th degree. Wasn't sick. So not that everyone would have that same experience....certainly be prepared....but also be prepared that you may not get 'sick' Don't set yourself up for it....mind over matter.

How funny!!!!No, he works for DyneCorp at Miramar AFB. I have no idea why Im bringing the cops into this. Just so you know...I do many things that have no rhyme or reason. I am a little kookie But I do enjoy myself And I guess I should let you guys know that my name Is Julie.....Julie38....Sophia is my computer name..Its also the name I go by at a Bed and Breakfast Again....no rhyme or reason

Haven't been very active on the boards, busy with end of school stuff, Baseball, etc... Very excited about the cruise, looking forward to all the festivities. Hooked on the Magic from last summer. Joining family on the cruise, Hawaiin Mickey - cousins and Tiny Bubbles party of 6 - Brother and Sister-in-law. We all did the Med. Cruise last July and had a blast, couldn't resist doing it again. I have read that you all are wondering if there is going to be a dis-meet pre-cruise, I think that Hawaiian Mickey is putting something together. We won't make it, can't travel to LA 2 days in a row. Hawaiian Mickey are DINKS. Were from So Cal, 30 minutes from Disney, Tiny Bubbles is from Upper State NY. By the way Hawaiian Mickey Husband and I are celebrating our birthdays on the 29th, we were lucky enough to get Palo's that first night to make the celebration that much special. Speaking of Palo anyone out there have a teen that likes to babysit? Tiny Bubbles has an almost 3 yr old that has to go to the nursery. We were hoping some teen might want to babysit for our Palo dinners, brunches etc... $$$$$ We pay well!!!! Just thought I would put it out there. Anyway, I have been reading your posts, sounds like you are all having fun with one another, see you all in 25 days.

Oh ok. Yes, I had to go back quite a few pages to get some of them....haven't heard from them in a while. Don't really even know if they're still on the cruise

OMG...you guys guess what!?! I can see pictures now!!! I wrangled my computer around and turns out it was a kid blocker my computer guy installed on it that wouldn't show any pictures!! Sophia I can see your pic!!
