Thanks Fishmike for the info Please keep us updated as the week progresses....And yes Sophia, I'm SOOO looking forward to Wall E. It seems like I've been waiting for years, I just really LOVE Pixar movies! Patrick and I are trying to figure out our schedule for that Sunday. We're going to make sure we hit our fave rides in DL, but just trying to figure out when the best time to get to the ship. Anyone think it's going to be bombarded with people first thing? Is it best to wait a little?

Well...I hear what you are asking, and Im not sure. I have heard that it takes about 45 to 1 hour to get on. I think that if you get their at like 11, or 12, you will be eating SALAD around 12:30 or 1 From everything that I have read, getting on the ship was a breeze. I have not heard one negative. But...what do I know? I was just looking at the Navigators

We are staying at the Holiday Inn at the port and then heading over to the ship in the morning. We are going to be at the port at 10:00 a.m. I realize this is really early, but I am so excited. I am hoping to be one of the first people to board the ship. My son will then run and jump in the pool. I always bring his swim trunks so he can board the ship and go swimming. He thinks it is fun to be the first person in the pool.

I totally hope you are one of the first!!!!! It will be so much fun!!!!! Look for M-I-C in the salad line. I will be the one with a hotdog sticking out of my mouth, and one in my back pocket

Well, since it's a Sunday morning, I'm not too concerned with traffic We'd probably get there around 12 (leave DL at 11). Besides....the Denali bulls it's way through that SoCal traffic People move aside ::cop: ::cop: I'm just thinking selfishly....I want the ship for as long as I can have it!! Walk around, take it all in for every minute I can But also, trying to get some fun in at DL too.

I think your plan sounds perfect. I know that you said that Patrick LOVES to run his life by a plan... Lets get him an egg timer, and he has to follow everything by the little ticking of the timer!!! HE WILL LOVE IT

We have 8 No really...we have 8 egg timers. ::cop: Anyway, so do you happen to know the best way to get from DL to the port? Surface streets or freeway?

I wish they had a slide for adults. So, I guess I will get my son in the pool, have my mom and husband watch my son. Run down to my sons room with my older son and begin the transformation. I must make sure that the door is totally decorated, the room has little mickey mouses all over the floor, the bed has a letter and a gift from Mckey Mouse, the bathroom is decorated with small items for my mom, and then the balloons are all blown up. I do this every year. My son thinks that Disney does this for him. If he only really could figure out who does this for him. I try to make the cruise extra special for my mom, my husband, and two sons. If they are happy then of course I am happy. Once all of that is finished I am heading up to the pool and purchasing a drink and eating at the buffet. I love the buffet shrimp and sitting and watching everyone. You would think I was a little nuts.
Sopia, I love wine. So we will be in good company. I purchased all of my alcohol beverages at Costco and Bev Mo. I have one case of water for the cruise. I am working on packing and geting my son a pair of shoes. He needs a pair of dress shoes for the cruise.

That is soo fun Well, sleep and Julie are not friends!!! Unless I take a little blue pill, I don't sleep. And believe me I have tried everything. ANYWAYS.... lets just say I slept about 2 hours last night. It is not a big deal. I have been lounging all day. Mom and I did go to Old Navy and bought Rick some trunks. I also got some of thoes cheap flipflops 2 for$5

Awesome....I truly was curious Mixed drinks....yes, if I can't taste the alcohol (believe it or not) I like it. It's that burning feeling from some alcohols I just can't take. But wine, beer....bring it on! ::cop:

Well, if you do not sleep that could be a good thing. Since how much extra time you get on the ship. The rest of us sleep at night, you can go swimming, walk the deck, visit with the staff, and of course see if they will let you drive the ship so the captain can take a nap.
