June 29, 2008 - Magic - West Coast!!!!

I know that you didn't ask me Chris, but I love to talk about Sadie. She is going to Camp Eloise. (lady down the street) She loves it there:dog2:

Oh my - yes - you did mention Sadie. What is her breed? My we are all children, dog and wine lovers!!!
I'm working w/dog trainer - of the Caesar Milan school. Max is very alpha and I needed help w/my pack leadership skills. So much is similar to raising kids!! Max is my 8th German Shepherd - over the years I've had some fab mutts and smaller dogs (including a toy poodle who bossed the G.S. around)

Okay - back to packing. Check w/y'all later.

Julie,
Ya - I'm gonna have to just chill - more important to enjoy time w/DGS Jack and new friends!! I will have a pedi just before leaving - thinkng about a massage in PV and ahhhh the wine - that's a Definate!!
Your're absolutely right about packing lite. Who cares if you wear the same sundress or shorts more than once!!
I'm a crocs gal rather than flipflops!! Sun Block yes. Oh I'm thinking about spray on tan - maybe!!

Will your DGS Jack be in the club or the stack? My oldest has decided he's in the club....late blooming 12 1/2 year old ;)

Ok my friends....Im off. Tomorrow my baby turns 14:( It goes soooo fast!!!!!I am looking sooo forward to our trip. This Dis board is so much fun. I love it. I will talk to you tomorrow. Really enjoy this week Ronda. Next week you can focus on the cruise:smokin: Goodnight all:faint: :disrocks:

Hasta LaVista baby....tryin' to get into that Riviera vibe! ;)

Gee Ronda - good question - I think he should stay w/the 11-13yo's. He's not that mature - so that's the club - yes?

If I heard correctly - DCL changed it for the Mexican Riviera and the PC cruises. So its 14 for the Stack rather than 13 ( unless the child is turning 14 w/in a short time period)

gotta go - check back - prob tomorrow!

Yes, they did change it for our cruises....and actually I'm happy. I know many people aren't, but for my oldest it's good :thumbsup2 Mick is really a late bloomer and loves video games...so it's a good fit for him and my daughter...they're REALLY looking forward to it! Maybe we can persuade them to enjoy their club while WE'RE all enjoying a glass of wine! :thumbsup2 :smokin:

:confused3 Why did they change the age for the Stack?

Well, it's just a trial thing for this summer on the Magic, but I guess there was a lot of parents complaining that the maturity level of a 17 year old was much different than that of a 13 year old, amongst many other issues. So upping the age of the younger club might alleviate some of those. I guess we're the guinnea pigs, but I actually like it. They've improved the activities to keep the interest of the 13 year old, so I'm kind of happy about that and so is Mick :)

:thumbsup2 I totally agree!!! There is a huge difference between 13 and 17. We are taking our family cruise next year before Jake turns 18. There is not much between 18 and 21. Just because Jake turns 18 does not mean he can go into the clubs.( I don't think?) anyways....I really did not to take a cruise next year, but I ran out of time...(age wise) Even if he can get into the clubs......I don't want him there!!! Good Morning M-I-C:surfweb:

Good Morning! :surfweb: Yes, I have read many times that parents wonder what the 18-21's are going to be doing. I guess that would be difficult. There's only so much 'spa time' you could afford or movies to watch. ;)

It is going to be a hard age....Hopefully (probably not) he will focus on school:rotfl2: :rotfl2: thats not funny!!! 12 days!!!!!!!!:smokin:

I remember in an earlier post you and Fishmike talking about the color of your luggage tags. Mine are lime green too....did anyone figure out what the colors mean? Is it a location on the ship 'thing' :confused3

OMG...12 days! I looked at my ticker this morning, and couldn't believe it! :cool1: Amazing!! I have to say...I had a good night's sleep, and I'm gonna tackle a few more things today...ironing so it's not a last minute chore, getting med's together, etc etc. Little stuff, but it'll be done :smokin:

I think everyone must have green. We are in the front of the ship. You are up on a high deck....I don't know? How many bags are you packing? I think we are going to bring 2 or 3. One will be filled with stuff. Water, sound machine, hair dryer, ect.... I also want some room to bring stuff home. Not a lot. I want to buy Jake a belt on our leather tour. Maybe a belt for James as well? ::yes:: You don't have to be anywhere with Tori today?

We're on Deck 8, just past the middle of the ship...kind of in between the middle and back (aft?). So you're probably right, everyone must have green. But as far as bags, it'll probably average about one each...we got two luggage tags per person, but we most likely won't need 10 bags! Although, you never know...we may when we get off :lmao: Cha-ching!! Anyway, yeah...I have to get to school for Tori's talent show practice later. She's playing her sax with a couple of her friends that play instruments as well. It's just one of those first year band songs that they're playing...but she really likes it. Plus I have a few end of the year PTA things to wrap up at school....But I have to fit in a little of my vacation stuff before then ;)

Well, I should get myself goin'....hopefully my computer will let me know of any new posts today :badpc: I'll check back in later...:smokin: Have a wonderful day!!!:sunny:

Good Morning!!

Just popping in to say Hi! Have tons of errands today - so I'm out of here! Catch y'all later.
Oh - I agree about the Stack - Jack is not very mature - so I think he'll have more fun in Quest. He has in/out privleges - haven't figured out how we'll communicate.

Have a Wonderful Day!!
