Is anybody going to WDW this year? We will be @ Kidani Village from 6/28 - 7/5.

No WDW for us. We are going on a cruise this year, but headed the other way...Alaska! Can't wait!

We're going this summer! Can't stay away. We'll be at AKL also, but Jambo house. We're going July 21-26.

We will go before our Oasis cruise. My daughter will fly down a week before me and spend time with her grandparents who live near WDW. I am sure they will make several trips that week. I plan to go July 4 or July 5 before the cruise.

I know it's early, but it is very quiet over here. Anyone looking for anything in particular for next year?

We are very busy finalizing plans for our cruise to Alaska this year (also over July 4th). It's our first FE experience, so will see how that goes. Have been thru PC twice, so nervous about having to use a different port with 3 extra kids in tow too. Hope everyone is preparing for a beautiful Memorial Day and staying safe from bad weather.

Just got of of the fabulous Fantasy this morning and we rebooked for 6/28. I'm really excited about celebrating the 4th aboard!
This cruise exceeded my expectations, so let me know if you have any questions.
My crew is my DH Jeff, myself Anne, DS (10), DD (8), and DS (6).

We'll be coming from Southern California and will be bringing my inlaws, DD (currently 5) and DS (currently 3). Some family friends are also coming with girls of similar ages to our kids.

Also coming from California. It will be my daughter's (will be 13) and my 2nd DC and my husband's and son's (will be 2 1/2) first. I'm glad we booked early because I've seen some of the cabin types selling out. Glad to see I'm not the only early planner out there!

We have two daughters as well (as of cruise time, DD12 and DD9) and what a great idea to get in touch beforehand!

Hello, DIS-ers!

We are SO beyond excited to go on this cruise. It'll be myself, DH, and DD age 11.5, and DD age 8.5 (the "halves" are very important, you know! )

Anyway, looking for two girls to email back and forth with mine, and maybe if all goes well they can meet up on the Fantasy next June!

That's what we did for our last cruise (Magic, June 2012). Met up with a very nice family. All our daughters emailed and sent pics. It really added a whole other, terrific dimension to the vacation. I figure why not try it again?

Just got back from our 2 week Florida trip that included Clearwater Beach, Vero Beach Resort, a week at AKL Kidani village with road trips to SeaWorld and Aquatica.

Over the last 11 years since getting married at the Wedding Pavilion in WDW I book a Disney Cruise or try to. Most years we go, a couple of years I have been out voted.

This year, my wife wanted to go to Disney's Vero Beach and see other parts of Florida that we have never seen before. While in Clearwater we saw Winter the dolphin from the Dolphin Tale movie, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium is nice, the girls got a kick out of it. We also went to Busch Gardens, Tampa which was fun too.

We typically like to plan one big vacation a year, next year will be a week in WDW prior to this cruise.

So we got back this afternoon, unpacked, and now it's time to shift-gears and start planning for this cruise!

Hello Neighbor! I'm excited to hear that we'll have neighbors on the cruise. My little guy will be 2 1/2 by then, so it sounds like we're sure to bump into you at the kids pool. Are you flying in the night before?

Since we decided (at least for the moment) that we will be flying in the day before the cruise I started looking at resorts in the Port Canaveral / Cocoa Beach area. The Ron Jon resort always seemed to get positive reviews. We did this once before, coming in the day before, we stayed at the Radisson at the Port which was nice.

The Ron Jon resort looks cool (a little pricey) and a great place to kick off vacation. I was surprised to see how booked up it already is, I apparently locked in the last one bedroom villa for 6\27.
