There is another post on page 112 post #1670 where the person listed the following showing formal night on July 2nd. I don't know which is correct.

Hi Y'all:

I called DCL today and got the rundown for the June 27th 12-Night Venice Sailing as far as what nights are casual, pirate night, semi-formal & formal. I thought I'd share it here just in case anyone was wondering.

Thursday-June 27th: Casual
Friday-June 28th: Casual
Saturday-June 29th: Casual
Sunday-June 30th: Casual
Monday-July 1st: Casual
Tuesday-July 2nd: Formal
Wednesday-July 3rd: Casual
Thursday-July 4th: Casual
Friday-July 5th: Pirate
Saturday-July 6th: Semi-Formal
Sunday-July 7th: Casual
Monday-July 8th: Casual

I have no idea how accurate it is.

We were told this over the phone from Disney- Formal Night- 1st Wednesday (July 3rd)
Semi formal- 2nd Monday (July 8th)
Pirate Deck Party- 2nd Sunday (July 7th)

Although, Formal night on July 2nd (sea day) seems to make more sense to me.... Either way we have established only one formal night for sure which makes my packing much easier!!

LOL... Sorry I guess I showed my ignorance. I was thinking since we leave on June 27th and we are at sea that was the day she was referring to. Sorry for the confusion, I guess I need it spelled out. LOL

We'll be traveling with:
Three younger kiddos: 6 year old (girl), 4 1/2 year old (boy), and a 2 1/2 year old (boy). Four college age-ish: 24, 25, 23, and 19 (we still consider ourselves kids haha) and three (real) adults.

I just today learned about the FE groups and of course saw that we missed the deadline (Clearly I should have been focusing on planning this cruise rather than graduation haha) Even so, any cute ideas for little trinkets I can bring for our 3 little ones? I think it'll still be fun for them to do even if it's just us stuffing their extenders everyday.

First of all, welcome! Sounds like you all have a great group traveling already and you are in the right place for extending the spread of pixie dust, especially for your younger travelers! We'd be happy to drop off extra FE trinkets for your little ones. Thanks for adding your family to the Who's Sailing spreadsheet.

We are doing a count-down on the back of our kitchen door with magnets and today it says we leave in 24 days. So I'm trying to get our loose ends tied up, so here's some information regarding Fish Extenders.

I organized the FE list by deck as a sort of "cheat sheet" so if anyone wants it, here's the link:

I'm still waiting to her from Just Drea for their GTY cabin assignment.

Also, if anyone's cabin changes as a result of upgrades at the port, please please please come to the Meet on the first day to let me know so I can get that updated for everyone. What I plan to do is to just post it on our cabin door or on a piece of paper on our Fish (6116) so it would just have Old Cabin - New Cabin for anyone that changes. If you can't get by the Meet on the first day, then feel free to call and leave us a message on our stateroom phone or leave us a note at the cabin on the first day.

Hi all! Forgive me if I missed a discussion about this already on this thread, but any ideas/info about the movies that will be onward when we sail? MONSTERS UNIVERSITY hits theaters in late June and THE LONE RANGER comes out July 4th weekend. I wonder if they will show them in the big theatre in lieu of stage productions? In 2011, they did that with CARS 2.

I love the stage shows, but it's always fun to see new Disney movies on the ship.

Hello All, If we change rooms we'll leave you a voicemail message in your room and/or a note on your door. Please open our gift as we believe you will find it useful on the cruise. Rule of thumb, if there isn't an FE bag the guest has probably moved. We found out about FE's on a cruise when we we kept receiving someone else's gifts. We left them by the door, but no one ever claimed them. We make a bag and heavily decorate our door. Can't wait!
