Thank you for the information!!:dance3: I can't wait to go!

I'm thinking about ordering pirate costumes online to wear. I've found a few cute ones and the price isn't bad at all! pirate: .

:goodvibes

Hey, Glad I found this.
Three of us are going...my wife, my son, and myself.
It'll be our 2nd Disney Cruise on the same ship...last one was a 3-day Carribean cruise but was way too short. This oughta more than make up for it!

See ya onboard ! ! ! -pj

Do you have kids? If so check out the cruise paks and pirate paks at The pirate accessories will be great for the kids!

We do have kids, but I'm thinking they aren't going to want to dress up. My DS doesn't even like to dress up for Halloween! I'm trying to talk them into it though.

Thanks for the website, I'll check it out. :goodvibes

Thanks for that update on the semi & formal nights. I hate to bring all the formal stuff but the DW is a nut about those nights. Already fighting popcorn:: about to much luggage so whats another bag. :sad2: :confused3 Spending a week before the cruise touring southern France and can't find a place to leave the luggage in Barcelona so have to schleep it with us. Of course ( honey, I hope your reading this!! :rolleyes1 ) the cars in Europe are rather SMALL if your bringing seven or eight pieces of luggage!! :sad2: :scared1:

What is your son's age? My son is 12. We also have a 14 yr old daughter.

Our DS (dear son for you newbies) will be 11 and DD (dear daughter) 14 at the time of the trip so there should be no complaing about lack of kids their age to meet. :goodvibes

Hey, sorry 'bout the delay. I'm new and still trying to figure out this "thread thing". Our son is 7 years old, and this will be his 2nd Disney Cruise. My wife and he enjoyed the last 3-day cruise so much that I fear I might have to "pry" them from the ship to go on land excursions. I'll be going on as many as possible. How 'bout you?

Yup an excursion in every port:lmao:
However a few are half day so as to keep the wear & tear down!

We didn't fully dress up for the last cruise but I did buy the kids (my niece and nephew) eye patches, fake tattoos and blow up parrots from a local party store. They were very inexpensive and a big hit.

Well, that was a piece of cake!! Got it done first thing today and booked Palo's. ;)

It is coming up fast and we can not wait!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I booked all my excursions and Palo today!!! 90 days to go!

Yup I am all booked as well, just got off the phone with DLP put resie on my Capitlal One Card no exchange fee!:cool1:

Now I just have to book my transfers in Barcelona and hope my passports show up!!:scared1:

It sure was a piece of cake. I just finished ours and got all eight excursions that we wanted. Was rather surprised at that. Registered the girls for the children's area as well.

Take care and see you in 90 days. We are soooooo excited now.

Same here!!! I applied for the kids' passports in january...so hopefully they will arrive in time. A few weeks ago when I checked the status, they were scheduled to arrive early May. Now the site is saying the passport is not found!!!

I think I am just going to take 1 (or 2 if needed) taxi back and forth. Transfers/car service prices are outrageous considering the airport is not that far. Also, we are staying in Barcelona a few days after the cruise, so there is no rush to get to the hotel on Saturday.

Yikes when did you apply in January even at 10 weeks you should have them in April! How do you check status?

We didnt send ours in untill March 3rd!:scared1:

Yes I will have to consider this, however transfers in Paris were about 95 euros to DLP not bad, did you get any prices for Barcelona?

Yay! We booked all our excursions too! Also Palo for dinner! Did anyone get a prompt to book Palo for brunch or tea? I didn't see one but it might be that they are already booked up since they only offer them on days at sea. Not sure why it didn't show up!

We ended up booking the AC BArcelona hotel prior to the trip on our own. (About $100 per night cheaper than Disney offered). I am thinking of booking the transfers through Disney though. Piece of mind and all. Anyone staying there too?

I was very surprised that Disney didn;t want money up front for excursions. MOST cruises want payment when booked. I guess it allows it to be magical until you get the bill!

Now, we are COMPLETELY booked. London, Barcelona, hotels and excursions. Yikes, it's finally seeming real!

I was able to book brunch for the first sea day 6/28.

We applied January 27 at the post office. You can go online to check the status on the passport site. Here is the link. http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/status/status_2567.html

I had gotten a quote from a company someone recommended on one of these boards and it was well over $100 each way. The airport is only 8 miles from the port, so even an expensive cab would not be more than half of that. I haven't gotten any other quotes yet.
