June 26, 2011 5 Nights on the Disney Dream!!!!

Cruising with my family, daughter will be 15 and son will be 10 by the time we cruise. My husband and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary! We are from Claremont, NH and were invited to join this forum by CSwan1 who had seen my post on the passporter forum. We can't wait to see the Disney Dream.

I have read about the fish extenders and would like to participate, we would love to meet everyone on the cruise also.

My Daughter will be 15 when we are on the cruise and wanted to know if anyones children were around the same age that are going on this cruise. She would like to meet and maybe hangout.

So glad to join this forum and look forward to getting to know you all.

PS: I am a Disney College of Knowledge Grad too!!

So we just got back from our Spring Break trip to Disneyland - 4 days at the Happiest Place on Earth! It was wonderful even if the crowds were a little bigger than I was expecting. We still had a great time. Lots of rides every day, and my daughter (age 5) shamed me into trying Spash Mountain. And yes, I did end up liking it enough to go on it a second time.

I keep telling myself that this is one trip down and only a couple more until the cruise. If I looked at the actual number of days it would seriously depress me!

So I got a temporary Mickey fix which will last until the July trip. Then it's the long wait until June 2011!

Sounds like a great time! I will be going to Orlando for a conference in July~ this will be my temporary Mickey fix!

My niece will be just barely 16 on the cruise (by 12 days actually)! And she is from right here in Enfield, too! She is on the facebook page for our cruise. You and your daughter should check it out!

Yes I have cruised on the Disney Wonder 2 times we just went the last time in September 2009. We love The Disney Cruise line and when bookings opened for the Dream we snatched up a space ASAP for this cruise. My whole family can not wait to see the new ship.

It is a small world that we only live 30 miles from each other I know Enfield because we used to go to the roller skating rink over there growing up "GreatView" roller rink.
I love being a Disney Travel Agent even though I can only do it part-time as a home based agent.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone on this board!

I was just chosen to host a 'Disney-What Will You Celebrate Party'!!!
I am a member of the Mickey Mom's Club and 1000 of the moms were chosen to host this party! I got to last year as well and it was so much fun! It is basically a sales gimick but totally worth it! Last year I received a HUGE box with party supplies, Mickey bags and straws, a Bingo game, picture album~~ all kinds of goodies! Just another excuse to talk Disney!

I just book my family on this cruise. It will be myself (Shelly), DH (Lance) and DD (Kiley). DD will be celebrating her 12th birthday the last night onboard.

This will be my 10th cruise on DCL (platinum, baby!), DH's 3rd cruise and DD's 4th cruise.

I am also booked on the Dream's inaugural cruise with my best friend, Jane. We take a vacation together every year and have dreamed about being on the inaugural cruise. Now, our dream is coming true!

Please sign us up to take part in the FE exchange. I have not participated in the past but I'm signed up on the inaugural cruise. It sounds like alot of fun!

Hello all.
I know there was a list on the earlier pages of the thread about how many people are participating in the Fish Extender for this cruise. Now that there are a few more people joining in can a new list be made up of how many people are actually going to participate. My family and I are having fun finding materials to make our FE and are already looking for special little gifts for everyone. We are a crafty family and may make some cool items for everyone also.
My kids are very excited to join in on this fun. This gives us something to enjoy because it is a long time away before we set sail.

Oh yes I earned my CDK Ears in 2005. My CDK gradutaion cap is a prized possesion in my house since I was such a Disney fan since childhood. They are super special to me.

Hello all! Sam here. tammyepolytinkfan is my mom. Yes, I am fourteen, but that does not mean that I can't converse with you all lol. Am looking forward to meeting all the DD's at Vibe...does anyone have a DD that is into theater? That would be my thing. I hope I can have some fun on this cruise because believe it or not, I was actually bored to death by Aloft on the Wonder. Maybe it's because I'm not like most teenagers. Anyways, hi. And HI MOM!

OK, just wanted to share what I had made as a FE gift idea. Had been looking at the FE gift thread with my mom and got the idea. I'll probably ask whose DD's have 18" dolls before the cruise (but definetly later on) so I can make them all. And now...*drumroll*

Tinkerbell!!

Let it be known that this was completely handsewn, with the belt hotglued on to conceal stitching, and made out of an old green teeshirt. There will be more 'petals' on the bottom, a modesty layer underneath them ,and a skin-coloured tank to conceal AG fabric when I make these for real. It only took me about an hour though, and when our new sewing machine comes in (Disney/Brother sewing and embroidery for the win!), I'll be able to whip these babies out like there's no tomorrow. With good fabric. Yay.

Thanks. I won't be selling these as far as I know, dont want to deal with shipping, copyrights, etc. I will be making a list of whose DD's have one and I'll make one for each. It's so easy and cool that I'm willing to do it for free.

I see my daughter is creating again. We will have to see how many she can make. I am not sure if it will be possible to make one for each little girl in the FE. As time get closer I will let you know by post if it can be done. Thanks for your patience.
