I am up for any kind of tasting or class. Would love to do with others, but If we dont work one out as a group, we will probably just try on our own anyway - I think martini and beer are our top two!! We hope it works out to join others for more fun but I think being our first cruise we will be overwhelmed upon boarding and am not sure we could figure out meeting up with others to sign up. Sorry, didnt want this to come across wrong
Actually, you came across fine

That's exactly how I feel about it too. Hoping I get to attend a tasting with you guys, but ready to go it alone if I have to.
I'm thinking that checking with the Double Dip right before ours would help as the scheduling of tastings might be the same
Besides, I need someone to pass the regular and dirty martini to as I can't stand to drink those

I like the sweet ones
Howdy,
Having been in a couple of F/E-Exchanges in the past, Ive found that a ships map illustrating the location of all the cabins that are participating can make the task of distribution a good bit easier. Since Ive already done the work, I might as well share it with everyone else. For all those participating in the F/E, if you're interested in getting a copy, here are a couple of options.
These are great!! Thanks so much
Yall are very welcome.
I rather like playing with images, so this was almost as entertaining to put together as it can be useful in practice later on. Now I just need to finish up our door magnets. I have a habit of making so many that we end up redecorating our door every night of a cruise (so feel free to drop by if youre on Deck-9 just to see whats different). Is anyone else doing door magnets in this group and what kind of images are you planning to put up?
I got a few on my computer that I need to make into magnets. Definitely need them to find the room. Now I need to remember to make them up soon as I hate rushing right before we leave.
Our FE arrived all repaired...
Very nice

The lady that makes these has a nice business going.
We too plan on printing out some of the wonderful designs from the DISigners and making magnets too.
I like their designs too

Had some great ones for our Baltic cruise last summer.
Great! Im looking forward to seeing what yall have come up with. Like I said previously, we will change out the magnets on our door daily. There will usually be a couple just for fun, a least one customized Mickey-Head for each of us, and one or two major images that are specifically designed for that day of the cruise. Here are a few of the images that Ive completed and will likely bring along, but Im always tinkering, so some of these could change.
Great job

I like them all. I think Ihave some of the same pictures saved on my computer as well (different text of course)
My DH and I will hit 20 years July 2012.
We are doing magnets as well...we have some from Tom (which are awesome) and now are trying to figure out how to modify some of the other templates that are out there....I'm not that creative on my pc

....I'd better recruit my 12-year-old
Yup, I get my teen computer geek to help me all the time
Hello everyone! We just booked this cruise today and it will be our 8th cruise with Disney, but our FIRST on the Dream. We can't wait!!
Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hi Karen

Welcome Aboard
we have been missing in action forever - my apologies. Hope everyone is getting excited about the cruise! I have a question for the group - looking for any experiences with late flights and what to do. We are thinking we will go to a park for the day - rent a car at one of the agencies near the port, head to Epcot probably for the day and then drop the car back at the airport when our flight leaves later that night. I just dread a little bit the thought of being hot and sticky and sweaty and tired as we board our flight and being the "smelly family"

If anyone has had a better than average experience with one of the car rental agencies, I'd love to know it.
Our other thought was to find a day room somewhere other than the Airport Hyatt (were really hoping for the Marriott Grande Lakes but called and they won't do it). Anyone have any good experiences in this realm?
Thanks in advance! Time's ticking down now!!
We've used rental cars as it is cheaper for a family of 4. I think it was Budget, but its been a while so I'm not sure. And not better than average experience with them anyway.
I don't see how you can avoid being a bit tired and sticky after a day at the parks in June-maybe put aside a change of clothes to change into at the airport would make you feel better though.
We've hung out at Downtown Disney for a few hours when we had later flights.
This time we are getting off the ship asap and going to Universal and Harry Potter world. We'll have our car though as we are driving rather than flying this time.
When did we get a facebook page?! I'm on here all the time and totally don't remember it. Next thing you know someone will tell me I joined it
To our newest member -- terribly sorry I must be getting old!
Didn't know/remember about the facebook page either
Never mind my last post! Everything seems to be back now!
I've had that happen to me too on facebook. Getting to the point that I just log off and wait for things to get fixed.
