We slept in a bit since my son had a Pirate Cruise at 9:30 this morning. We got to the Grand Floridian & got his life vest on. We hit a little snag when it came time to group the kid with partners. There was an uneven amount of kids & my son did not have a partner. The CS told my son that he can be her speical partner & he got this sad look on his face & looked at me and starting to cry. I went over to find out what was wrong & he told me he didn't want to be a special partner, that he wanted a "kid partner"
I felt so bad for him, he was so sad that he didn't have a partner
Anyway, the CS said that she will find him a partner. He stopped crying & walked up on the boat with a sad kind of look. I was worried how the Cruise would go but when it came time to pick him up he was all smiles & showed me all his treasures he found! I asked him if he got a partner & he said he got 2 partners so they must of had a group of 3 kids together.
I was just relieved he had fun.
While my son was on his cruise we check out the Monorail resorts & really liked the Poly. I didn't think I would but I did. We then came back & had some juice at the counter place in the Grand Floridian (I forget what it is called)
Anyway, after the Pirate Cruise we hop on the Monorail to head to Magic Kingdom. We spent about an hour in town square getting autographs again. My son was very into the autograph thing
We then had to head over to Crystal Palace for a 1:00 PS. There was a long wait, even with a PS. It was HOT that day too but we were lucky to find some shade while we waited for our table.
The food & wait staff at Crystal Palace was wonderful. Our waiter, believe his name was Juan, but can't remember for sure, was WONDERFUL. My son had to show him all the treasures he found on his pirate cruise. The waiter played along with my son when my son 'scared' him with one of his bug rings he got on the cruise.
The character interaction was so-so. Piglet & Eeyore were great. Eeyore was the best. Pooh was OK, but I was disappointed at Tigger. He was at our table & gone within a couple seconds. In fact my son went to hug him & he walked away, the look on my son's face was so hurtful that Tigger did that. We got our waiter & told him what happened & he got Tigger back over there so my son could give him a hug.
We then left to go to Fantasyland. We rode Dumbo (twice), tea cups (twice), It's a small world, Snow white, Peter Pan and the Caroseul. My son loved the Peter Pan ride.
We also were able to meet Ariel at Ariel's Grotto. I was surprised that the line was not too long at all. So we waited in line, it was probably only a 20 minute wait.
My son loved meeting Ariel. Ariel really took the time to talk to him. He took a wonderful picture with her too (which we ended up buying)
We also met a few villians during our visit to Fantasyland. They were a riot!
We decided to head back to the resort a little early since we were still all pretty tired from the night before. So we got back & asleep at a somewhat decent hour
