Loved the "1"

I agree it really has been quiet on here, but it sure does make it really easy to stay caught up

I looked at the DCL site and WOW there was another BIG increase on this cruise. I am so glad I booked when I did--no way would I justify paying that over 6K just for 2

I still have Adam's room booked, but I don't think he will be coming---still keeping my fingers crossed that he is able to.

While we were on the Dream, we looked to rebook this cruise and it was totally cost prohibitive. One of the cabins had gone up $2000! Glad we booked it when we did.

This post happened to catch my eye when I saw that it had been really quiet in here....our other Meet group got really hopping when it got chatting over on FB...the privacy was awesome and it showed up in notifications. Plus, being able to put the faces to the names was fantastic. I know a bunch of this group has travelled together before, but it's going to take the newbies just a bit longer to get to know everyone!

So glad to be on this meet!

I tried to do the same for my son's room but the inside cabins raised in price way before the verandah rooms did. I also booked the June 16th cruise before this one and was still able to get tier 1 pricing on it in late January---wish I would have done that while I was on the Panama Canal because I would have gotten the 10% +OBC on that week also. But when I look at the pricing today comparably it is jus nuts.

What we did for our 2008 PC cruise, was almost everyone put their picture in their signature and added their real 1st names so we could learn them easier over the almost 2 years we chatted.

I like the FB groups, but have my notifications turned off for most of them--they keep my inbox too full. But I find it is hard to search for things in them, it is so much easier on here.

Oh - I know! I keep my notification emails turned off for my FB groups or it would clog my email all day long. I actually like the FB groups because you can create DOCs which are easy to locate. During my first cruise I LOVED the DIS groups - was on them wayyy to much. We got so comfortable with them..... about two weeks before the cruise we got a couple of people who popped in saying hi and that they had read all 150 pages of posts and just never felt like saying anything...it just made us feel weird that we were being watched..... Anyway --- either way -- I love Disney cruising and the only way we were able to get off the one on Tuesday is knowing we were coming back on this one.

I think that happens with all the cruise meet threads. I know when I 1st came over to the boards--I was leary of posting so I read a lot and sometimes on the main boards people can be quite snarky
