On our last cruise, there was another group of people with about 30 FEs that weren't part of our group....it was very confusing as we kept walking past the doors and wondering why they weren't on our list. We found out later it was the Be Our Guest Podcast group....

Stacey, when do you think we should make a decision on leaving the 2ed FE list or moving them into the main FE group. I know there are a few of us willing to do both groups but waiting for the decision.

I would think that if people want to do both groups that they should just sign up for the second group. That way, you're covered and the people for the second group are exchanging with those who have planned to exchange with them.

In past cruises, I have found that the last couple weeks before the cruise there are usually some requests that come in late and those could go to the second group as well.

Here is what we have so far - there are only 8 additional (2 families) participating so far in the 2nd group that aren’t a part of the 1st group. With a cutoff date of May 23rd I am hesitant to absorb those people into the 1st group without considering any additional folks that are still "lingering". I would suggest that if you don’t mind adding the 2nd group to your list to go ahead and just sign up under that group as well as the 1st group.

Because here is the inevitable ... as soon as we say "Okay let’s just move those 8 under the 1st group" we will have additional requests to join.

And here is the thing ... if you are making something personalized... maybe for the 2nd group because the size is still unknown you do something different for those families/kiddies.

When the list is sent out I will absolutely identify the "additions" to the group if you are participating in both so you only have to consider the new ones.

Does this make sense?

I signed up for FE one day late. I thought I sent an email explaining why it was a day late, to the person organizing it. It was my new email account, and I can't find evidence that my email sent. I am fairly certain my name did not make the list, as I never recieved an email of the list. I wanted to make sure that my name is not on the first list before signing up for the second group. Thanks for any help.

I have found that sometimes AOL and gmail don't seem to get along well. Sarah (radsak1149) have you checked your spam folder? Stacey's emails could be ending up there.
