Hi Everyone,

Glad documents have arrived Howard & Cam. Took an extra day off work today to spend with my Mom who is visiting from Idaho. She has been on Westeren trip and loved Grand Cayman.

Tom, We have done the surial bath and full massage in the spa. Both were great. Only problem after the massage is I was as limp as a dishrag. It was so relaxing I didn't want to do anything after.

Thanks for the reminder about being totally relaxed after the massage. Guess I shouldn't book my first-ever massage for a time when I would be expected to be energetic afterwards.

Interesting to contemplate this trip without worrying about registering at the kids' clubs, planning enough time to do my DD13's hair "up" for dinner, making sure to get DS8 to club in time for some activity, worrying about DD showing up at the cabin unexpectedly to pick up something , or leaving Rockin Bar D before someone's bedtime

Tom--glad to hear the enthusiasm is contagious. This is such a great bunch. We are really looking forward to seeing your green ribbons at the sailaway party overlooking the goofy pool, on 10 starboard.

Howard and I are both pretty busy helping to organize the Delaware Special Olympics Summer Games on 6/8-9, but once that is over, you will all get sick of hearing from us.

BTW, for those of us compulsive planners who have taken the 5/11 navigators and planned the week based on them, keep in mind that Barb has posted from the ship to tell us that the schedule has changed already from the inaugural sailing to this 2nd sailing. She has promised to post the whole set of navigators when she gets back. I will keep an eye open and post an alert here when I see it.

Tami here, we're all getting very excited as well. Having a planning dinner on Saturday with our traveling companions so will be fun.

I believe I read about a separate thread going for teens on our cruise. Our friends have a 13 year old daughter, she's interested meeting some other kids her age prior to sailing as well. We will also all be at the Radisson on Friday, so she'll be there with the green ribbon too!

Hi All!!!

We are truly doing the "Docu-dance" here in northern Delaware. I hope the Fed-X man heads up to PA Dutch Country (Akron, PA) to deliver yours Beth, and to you too Nicole.

I got my first glimpse of the documents tonight.... everything looks in order (except what Cam previously mentioned about the Zipcode). It is great to have them in hand and to get a great look at the "key" that will unlock the Magic (the tickets).

The official countdown is now at 24 by the way!!!! Wowieee!!!

I hope those documents come for your guys soon. Well, got the suitcases out of storage to air out today. Well the packing will be the next thing!! Need to finish shopping for the odds and ends and then think about packing. Should be a great week here in Syracuse 80's all week, can you believe it. I can't wait to see the new navigators from Barb & Tony when they get back from this weeks' Western cruise. The teens can't wait to see their navigators too. Hope they get them posted real soon after they return. Take care guys and keet posting!!!

Yeah!!! Three cheers for the Fedex Man!!! I am so happy that you received your documents. My diningroom and livingroom look like a bomb went off. I have suitcases and vacation stuff everywhere. But it will all be worth it on June 22nd!!!

I just returned to my classroom from the school library where we all watched the final ceremony at Ground Zero. On September 11, I sat in that same library watching the horrific events unfold. Today, as I watched that final goodbye, I realized how lucky we are to be anticipating our upcoming cruise and the new friendships we will make. As we all make our last minute preparations let us not forget how lucky we are and all those who will not be spending another vacation with their loved ones.

Okay make me cry. I watched a little on good morning america.
I am from new york and I still can't believe it happened. I have some cousins that are NYPD and thank God they are fine. I coun't my blessings every day even when my darling teen agers are driving me crazy. I can't wait for this trip to spend some good family time together with out the computer, tv and phones.

Yes, we are very lucky and I count my blessings every night as I lay down and go to sleep for everything that God has bless us with. I just can't say enough prayers to get us down and back on those planes to Florida. I am petrified and when your 17 year old starts asking how safe are we flying down I just want to cry. Lots of prayers that we all get to Port Canaveral safely. Making new friendships is such a special thing, we wouldn't want to miss that opportunity. Well, we just returned from the 8th grade Chorus Concert, 1 function down, uh I have not a clue how many more school functions until school ends. But that means it is closer to the cruise sailing date. I am sure everyone is busy as we are, keep in touch.

Hi, Debbie . . . I don't think we have met. I am Cam and my DH is Howard. We are happy to see you here on this thread. We have all been getting more excited with each passing day. Hard to believe that by this time 3 weeks from now, we will have already arrived in Orlando , picked up our luggage (who packed all that STUFF? ), picked up our rental car (Howard is hoping it will be something fun to drive ), and will, hopefully, be en route to visit our friends who retired to Clermont in November . If your family is not going to be at the Radisson Friday night, we will look for you on deck 10 starboard overlooking the goofy pool. Be sure to wear green ribbons!
