June 22, 2013 FANTASY 7 night western cruise *UPDATE FE signup

We will be cruising with you. It's our 3rd Disney cruise and our first on the bigger ships. There are 7 in our family, so we have adjoining rooms. We are wanting to sign up for the FE exchange as well.

Hi - I've lurked around these boards for a long time, through planning several trips and love all the info here. We finally booked the 6/22 cruise and are so excited! It's our first cruise so we are very excited and I've ben scouring the boards trying pulling together all the tips and tricks I can. I've signed up for the FE and have decided not to tell the kids about it until after boarding so they will be extra surprised. It will be me, dh, dd (11) and ds, who will turn 8 during the cruise. I was curious - my daughter loves penpal writing and wondered if anyone with kids around the ages of mine was interested in doing an address or email exchange to allow the kids to get to know someone that's going to be on board with them ahead of time. With it being our first time, they are excited but a little intimidated too and thought this might be great to have kids to look forward to seeing once they are on board.

Ok got our plane tickets! I've been watching them for 2 months and when I checked on Friday night, they were cheaper, so I saved $1000! Crazy!

Excursions.. We have a 3 year old this time, so we'll be limited on some of the things we can do. I'm thinking Turtle Farm on GC.
Cozumel.. either Paradise Beach or Nachi Cocum. I'm wondering if NC will be too quiet for my 14 year old? Paradise has all the water inflatibles, etc. Costa Maya, not sure.. but probably some ruins.
And I'd love to snag a cabana on Castaway Cay, but I know that's a long shot. We had a great time last cruise without it, so I'm not stressing about it too much.

Have any of you spent time in the children's area on CC? The Dinosaur dig? Is that all it is? We didn't pay any attention last time, since Ds3 wasn't with us.

Missy - I think that is a great idea! My daughter is 8.5, she will be turning 9 a week after the cruise. It's our first cruise too so something in common.

My daughter would love to become pen pal with some of the kids on our cruise. Anyone out there who has kid(s) that would like a pen pal, PM me. I think it will be a lot of fun!

You can signup for the FE with a GTY cabin. We already have others like that. Just click on the link in the first post in this thread and fill out the form to be added to the FE list.
