Hi I will be on this sailing who is with me we will have 3 children with us ( my other 2 will be in Germany school trip don't tell them we will be having fun without them hehhe) ages of kids are 11,8,7 at cruise time. Jill

Greetings! I'm so excited for our cruise! We live in Virginia and usually drive to PC for our cruises (this will be our 5th Disney Cruise). I'm excited about the easy trip for this one! Cruising will be my DH and I along with our boys who will be 9 and 7 at the time of this cruise. I can't wait!

We live in Texas and I wanted the Galveston cruise so we could eliminate airfare, but my 10 year old went crazy when she heard that there were cruises out of NY. She went on and on about "the big apple" and could we also do some vacationing in "the big apple?" It was crazy. I didn't even know she really knew anything about NY...

So we're doing this one paired with at least 1 or 2 days of NY sightseeing I guess. I may put down the deposit on the Canada one right before this as well just to hold onto it and decide later....13 days on the Magic sounds Magical!

My family and I will be going on this cruise along with my parents and my brother's family.

We're from Connecticut and Massachusetts so this will be an easy drive!

We'll be six adults and five kids, and it's our first Disney Cruise!

KSloan, so sorry that you'll miss the opportunity to board the ship close to your house. Figures, doesn't it? When I told my boys we were sailing out of NYC, they both started spouting off facts about the Statue of Liberty. I had no idea they knew so much! That will make are sight-seeing all the more special.

Hello Everyone! I'm so happy I found others who will be on the same cruise. This is our 1st disney cruise. We are only going because it is leaving so close to home. We are in NJ.

It's will be me, hubby, our 2 boys who will be 4 & 6 at the time and my mom.

We are so excited and I was so happy to find this board. I had no idea about things like decorating the doors and such. I'm going to be very busy with all this extra stuff but I want to fully enjoy this Disney experiance.

We just got our confirmation packet in the mail. Im so excited for our first disney cruise! We are coming from CT so it will be an easy trip into nyc for me, my husband our 7 y/o son and 4 y/o daughter. We haven't a clue what we want to do for the day in Nassau. What do you guys plan on doing?

We've already done Nassau (twice by then) so we'll probably stay on the ship and enjoy the smaller crowds...

This will be our first Disney cruise too! We live in central Jersey so it will be nice to have a short drive to the port. I will be cruising with my DH, DS-5 and DD-7. We are also taking my parents and MIL. Looking forward to having 4 days at sea!

We are looking to take this cruise, but I have found the fares to be pretty high.

A inside cabin for a family of 4 is around $6,000. We are going to wait to see if they offer any promotions. Hopefully it works out for us, if not, we hope to get another great promotion to spend a week at smugglers notch.

Booked this trip on the Magic while on the Dream last week. Looking forward to an easy trip to the dock (live in CT), great destinations (can't wait to get back to Castaway Cay), and lots of fun. Will be travelling with my sister, brother-in-law and 7 year old nephew. This will be our third Disney cruise together, and their 11th as a couple (nephew has been on 4). It feels like it will be a long wait, but it will go by fast. Can't wait to be back on board with Mickey and the gang!

We took our maiden cruise on June 12 via the Dream and loved it. Booked the same type of room (oceanview suite w veranda) for the June 22 out of NY. We are in DC, so easy train ride for us.

We learned SO much about crusing on our first cruise with a now 8 year old girl, so if anyone is in the same "boat" and has questions I am thrilled to chat and answer questions.
