Airfare booked!!! Southwest just released through Aug 10!

Had to do some changing of our plans as we planned to see NY before the cruise, but it turned out to be $150 cheaper in airfare to do it afterwards so we'll be cruising and then seeing NYC.

We are flying in and out of EWR for $111 coming and $87 going!

Definitely going to join the Fish Extender group this time. For our cruise on the Dream in June, I made FE's for me and my sister. I left little gifts for my nephew (he'll be 7 on the Magic cruise) and they left gifts for me. We're ready to go big time and exchange items with a ship-ful of pals! Now is the perfect time to look for little gifts or crafts while summer stuff is going on sale. Count me in, and I can help with organizing it.

Basically a Fish Extended is a homemade "mailbox" that you hang on the fish outside your cabin door. And then everyone that signs up to be a part of it, brings a gift or gifts for each family that is participating and leaves them gifts in their mailboxes, and you receive gifts from everyone that signs up as well...

If anyone is flying into Newark the day before and wants to stay close to the hotel....

I just booked The Hampton Inn,Newark Airport for (I think) $89. Hampton (Hilton) offers a price guarantee. If you you can find a cheaper price, you get the hotel for that price PLUS a $50 American Express Gift Cheque.

Expedia has this hotel (or did yesterday) for $67.15.

You must book at the $87 rate (prepaid rate b/c Expedia is prepaid) and then fill out the form.

I have already gotten back confirmation that I will be receiving the $22 credit upon checkin to the hotel and the gift cheque will be mailed upon checkout. So this room is actually costing me $17.15!!!

Thought I'd share in case this would work for anyone else!!!

Is anyone going to rent a room at the Comfort inn by the Atlantis? They have added on some new fees - energy surcharge $12.95 and a $5.00 housekeeping gratuites per person. How much is the taxi to the comfort inn? Is it worth getting getting this room? I

My answer:

I have been on one Disney cruise - the Wonder during Summer 2010 when my oldest daughter graduated high school. We did 5 days to Nassau.

I have been to Disney World twice as a child and six times since becoming a Mom. Three of those trips were with both daughters, two with just my youngest, and one all alone.

I think after our 2012 Disney cruises and Disney World trips, I want to plan the next one for Disneyland just so we can have been to both.

When my oldest daughter graduated, she choose a cruise and trip to Disney World.

My youngest is in 6th grade, and she is saying she wants to do a couple of the international parks for her high school graduation! I am thinking I better open a savings account for that now!

My dh and I went to Disneyland 16 years ago when I was pregnant with my ds , we were disappointed because it was soooo small compared to Disney World. I do want to go again. We have been to Disney so many times because my sister lived there for a few years and we would stay with her.
