we are a family of 5 (3 kids kids 3-7) and 2 adults we got a 1 bedroom suite on this sailing and paid around 13,800. Wow!!! That is more then our 14 trans atlantic on Disney this year *but our twins were under 3 so we didn't have to pay for them.

I was curious if anyone got a 1 or 2 on this cruise that is what we wanted.

Looks like this cruise is not as popular as other weeks so far.

We were lucky enough to get the Roy suite for this cruise.

We are on this cruise, but IC had us on the wrong week for a suite :confused3 so we are on the waitlist now.

We will be celebrating our DS graduating from college and have some other family and friends traveling with us.

glad to see others on this week.
DCL messed up so many things with these reservations--it's hard to think a major corporation would not have a better system

We will be on this cruise too. It is myself and my son who will be 12 then. We are very excited since we live in California and we don't have to fly!!! Did any of you do the cruise in 2005?

It will be myself, my DH, DS (13) and DD(9) (ages when we sail). We hadn't planned on another cruise, but we since we live in CA, we just couldn't resist. Yes, we did the 2005 cruise, too, so let us know if you have questions.

I'm starting tho thnk this is the most unpopular cruise ever!!--Well maybe prices will go down then.

My older son will be 20 then, and the younger one 12.

I wish there where some emtpy suites on this cruise. I guess except for BethA and Mardonna all the suites must be taken by non-DISers.

Oh well......we will have a GREAT TIME no matter what.

:dance3:

didn't I see on another post that someone was trying to decide whether to take a cat 2 or a connecting 3 and 4

I could handle an empty ship! Somehow, though, I don't think that's going to happen. Even though we have over a year, I'm ready to go NOW!

Yes, we (party of 7) and 9 other families are all going. We booked first and then our best friends booked and it kind of snowballed after that. We are all first time DCLers and are beyond excited! We're all from California, so it was a perfect scenario for us. In total we have 23 adults and 36 kids... CRAZY!

Party of 59!!!!

Sounds like fun--there goes the empty ship. Welcome aboard!

I can't stand having our cruise fade to the background of the disboards. Maybe if I bump this thread back up, more people will find us. It's worth a try! Is anyone else out there???

Guess we are the only ones wanting to keep this thread alive. Maybe more cruisers will find the dis durig the next year. Some of the meet threads for next year have so much activity! when we sailed last year we had a lot of people from the dis and our thread had many new posts daily--it was a great way to keep the excitement up and learn a lot of info.

We are cruising on RC this year and I can't get that excited. DCL is my favorite. We had planned to do the Med, but changed our minds. Mardonna--are you excited for the Transatlantic? I can't wait to hear all about it!

Beth

Well here is a another post to try to keep things going a little. I didn't catch the fact that Mardonna is going on a transatlanic cruise. Which one? We are on the one coming back in August. I use the timezones as the excuse to be on westbound cruises.... more hours on he Magic.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Right now I have been putting most of my energy into plannin for that cruise. We are going to Barcelona a few days early to see some of the sites there.

in the first post she mentioned the transatlantic cruise.

I am so jealous--14 days on the Magic--they wouldn't be able to get me off after that much time on there. Enjoy your cruise!!

Yes, 14 days on the Magic is FANTASIC. We were on the first West bound Panama Canal cruise too .... like I said I like going west.... After the first week I remember us all say how great it was not having to get off after 7 days, but having another week to look forward to. But even then the next week went so fast.

We love the sea days, so going across the Atlantic should be really enjoyable. The canal was awesome though.

I was surprise how Disney was caught off guard by the enthusiasm of the cruisers on that first Panama Canal cruise. That was the cruise they "slept in the halls" to get pins. My family and friends tell me I am addicted to DISNEY, but after that I tell them my case is mild compared to others who slept in the hall. But even at that, I know they had fun. It was sort of like a big slumber party. But DISNEY ran out of their special Panama Canal Cruise merchandise within hours of boarding too. Some very resourceful individual had some shirts made up and sent to our first port of call making light of DISNEY's lack of foresight.
