Test Track vs TRON Lightcycle / Run

I gotta go with Test Track based on the length alone, though I haven't ridden the 3.0 version yet. The 2.0 version was very TRON-esque, though.

Voted TRON even though it's not a favorite or even a must do because so short. But at least it is a thrill ride. Test Track inside is just a jerky dark ride then outside is no different than riding in my own car. DS loves it - otherwise I'd be inclined to skip it.

Voted for Tron due to the unique ride vehicle and do like the speed.

I voted TT. Rode it last night for the first time to see 3.0. The original was the best and had a storyline. But visually 3.0 wins.

Test track is more my speed and thrill level that I can handle.

Tron for sure. Haven't been on Test Track 3.0 yet but was never a fan of it as to me it's no different than being in a normal car. Tron is different and a lot more fun.

Where is "none of the above"?

I've done both rides, Test Track just the other day, and neither are really my cup of tea. I did Tron in Shanghai and was ready for the ride to be over right after the launch. Clearly I'm not a rollercoaster fan.

I've been on the latest version of TT a couple of times now and once you get over the "oh yes, I remember this sequence from the old one" its basically a jerky ride with the exception of the fast loop around the building. Which ends with a series of abrupt jerks as the braking system kicks in to maintain spacing.

TOUGH choice! Love them both, but if I could only do one it would be Tron. That look, speed and feel of the ride set it over the top. TT is a classic though, and I really like the new version, especially the launch room (if you know, you know)

Really enjoy tron but it’s sssooo short! And test track is a nice mid-range thrill for us that the whole family can ride whereas on the most recent trip only two out of five were willing to ride tron but everyone hopped on test track twice

For me, not every ride needs to be a thrill ride. I love that TT offers speed and excitement for those not yet ready for the bigger thrill rides.

I rode single rider a couple of times this trip and loved hearing the excitement of younger kiddos in the car experiencing the thrill for the first time!!

My point wasnt because of lack of thrill. Plenty of non thrilling rides that feel like rides. Its just because it feels like being in a car and we all are so used to cars that it just feels like normal life. I wont queue to drive my own car down a freeway. I dont see why I should queue for this or what Im supposed to get out of it.

Can’t really argue with what you like out of rides. We all have our own likes and dislikes.

Personally, I can put the top down on my car and go 0 to 60 faster than what I experience on test track but the whole experience as a whole is not close to being the same to me.
