June 21, 2014 Disney Fantasy Western Caribbean Meet Up

We have done WDW before cruising. It was GREAT. We've also done a few days before and a went back for a few days after disembarking. BTW- if you are considering going back after the cruise, I recommend packing a separate "WDW" suitcase. We washed everything and repacked the case then checked it with the concierge. They delivered it to the property we were staying in on the other side of the cruise. It was great to have clean stuff that we did not have to drag back and forth to the ship.

That is good to know!!! Where in PA are you? We are in the Pittsburgh area.

We live just outside of Philly... by Valley Forge/King of Prussia. Seems like we have a bunch of PA and DE sailors this trip! Fun!

Good morning fellow cruisers. Another month has gone by.
We now have only

months to go to the Fantasy. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Hey there- I was in Pottery Barn the other day and they have these adorable Cruise Ship Ornaments this season. I think it was like $9 but is now on sale for $5.95. Had considered ordering the Disney one ($24!) for us to tell the kids at Christmas but this one was very similar and not $24! YIPPEE!

There is also a "Passport" ornament at Target for like $5

Stay safe out there this weekend! :santa:

Welcome!!!:welcome:

MY DS will be 19 during the cruise too. Same as you, he last cruised when he was 17. The Vibe was great for him. He loved hanging out there. It will be interesting to see how things will be for him at 19. I know he is interested in going to Palo and checking out the spa & rainforest room. I know he will love the cruise, but it would be nice if the college age kids had their own hang out.

Welcome, tinkerbell60!

It sounds like we'll have quite a few college age kids in this group. We'll have to encourage them all to go to the first meet up for that age group so they can get to know one another. I know my daughter is looking forward to trying out all the adult things with us, but it would be great to find some others her own age to hang out with too. :goodvibes

This will be my first cruise as an adult. I would have graduated from HS a week prior so I'm new to all this. Your kids will probably see me in this:

It'll say class of 2014 instead of 2013

I will also have these on too:

I will be a recent high school graduate at the time so those with 18-21 year olds, your kids will most likely be seeing me in a Disney or my school cap.

I'm so glad that there will be people my age on the cruise. I would like to get to know everyone before the cruise. I do not have a facebook by the way.

Maybe you could start a meets thread just for 18-21 year olds here on the Dis? We've had threads just for kids on other cruises we've been on. Not sure how much activity you'll see but I'll encourage my daughter to join :)
