*June 2025 Check-in Thread*

I just booked our PTN dining package - I’m not sure it will work for us but wanted the option. 1-4 pm will be prime naptime coming from central time zone with a toddler 😬 I did manage to snag Trader Sam’s for our arrival day, which will be a nice way to decompress after our early morning flight.
Same for us on the dining packages. The times are not ideal and we're also coming from CT. Also, the parade won't arrive to Town Square until close to 9:15.

The math says it’s doable but very tight. You’d have to enter DCA before they close at 10 pm which probably means setting up close to the end of Main Street and powerwalking out around 9:50 pm. Google says Wondrous is 13 minutes long so maybe doable. WOC is 21 minutes long so if it’s over at 10:31 that gives you 14 minutes to navigate the Exodus out of the viewing area and get over to Main Street before the 10:45 PTN. Let us know if you try this!
We’ve definitely done the Wondrous to World of Color trek before so the question will be making it back into Disneyland in time. I’m sure I’ll attempt it at least once!

I’ve booked an extended trip from May 28-June8th with a rest day in there. And maybe a half day here or there. Coming from Australia to celebrate my 40th earlier to see the 70th anniversary stuff. Haven’t been since 2012 and never for more than a day in each park.

I’m a big planner so got a spreadsheet going on fitting in restaurants and all the parades/shows. Plan on watching fantasmic twice as I’ve never seen it before. And paint the night as well. Got a few bookings for dining packages. Hope they release some of the good merch in May and not wait until July

I'm sure we will see some good merch coming out for the beginning of the 70th. I guess the question will be if any of the really good things will still be available! I'm excited to hear more about the special food offerings too!

Hope you have a great trip. You can officially say, "I'm going to Disneyland this month!" 🤩

So I booked our dining for the week - one day at at time... 🙄
Anyway - it ended up being way easier than I had anticipated.
We decided not to do the F! Premium Package because of the food choices mostly, BUT I did see it as a choice on the app right at 9am EST so I am counting that as a win! LOL

Fri - I booked Naples for our first night (no parks).
Sat - WOC Dessert Party - 2nd Show
Sun - Blue Bayou dinner
Mon - Storyteller's Brunch
Tues - Carnation Cafe early lunch, Hearthstone dinner
Wed - decided not to book anything on our last day to have flexibility and the most park time

Planning on trying walkup at Lamplight Boardwalk. Do I need to physically go there or can I try on the app? Do I need to wait until it opens or when the park opens?

Also interested in counter service and snacks at Jolly Holiday, Pym's, Craftsman Bar and Craftsman Grill, Tienditas, and Jack Jack Cookies. I am GF, kids are not, so I have been doing my homework.

All of our previous trips to WDW I booked more dining, but this trip the kids are older (23 and 20), it's just the 3 of us for the first time, and since we are new to DLR, we wanted to maximize park time. 5 park days is the shortest Disney trip we have ever had, so we are still trying to wrap our heads around getting to try everything we are interested in and still have time to repeat favorites. Also, due to school/sports/work schedules we could only ever go to WDW in mid August, when the humidity and heat zapped all of our energy and patience. We always took a long midday break. I know DLR will be hot in June/July, but it can't possibly be as bad as WDW in August! We are staying at GCH, so taking a break should be easy.

Thank you to all of you for your help so far! I am sure I will have more questions and I will definitely keep checking in for more tips and info! Looking forward to PTN and 70th merch!

Congrats on securing your reservations! You got some good ones 😉

For walking up to Lamplight, I have only ever done it in the app, but you may be able to do it at the host/ess stand. For checking in on the app, you have to be closeby to initiate it, and it should give you an estimate of how long it'll take. We checked out the gift shop nearby (Knick Knacks) while we waited.

As far as weather, DL will be MUCH better than WDW in August. We don't have as much humidity here in CA, so it's more of a dry heat (LOL, everyone always uses that term). Although late June should still be pretty manageable heat wise. And at night you'll likely need a light sweater/jacket as the winds can really cool things down. At least for a native Californian whimp like me!

Just booked for June 19th -22nd park hoppers for my 15 year old son and myself. I just did a trip with my 12 year old daughter and really like the solo trips with one kid at a time. Staying at a Marriott property due to points. I have reservations for River Bell fantasmic package and Lamplight and signed up for the alerts to try to get a Trader Sam’s reservation. Being local I never plan trips far enough out to get on right when reservations open!
