I wish I could say that I felt comfortable seeing them gone this morning, because I knew it was coming. But, I can't say that I don't feel some anxiety over them reappearing sometime between now and Friday.

Luckily I only have 9 points I’m waiting for. Probably going to have to use them for a spring trip. We have a fall trip planned, not sure they will let us use them on that reservation. We still have to cancel our annual passes. We had a little over a month left, when they shut down.

Yeah that was scary to see this morning. I have about 90 points that expired including some banked 2018 points. Waiting to see them back in my account lol

45 points for us, and YES we want to move them into our sept ressie. Good Luck all !!!

I am in the same boat. Had a reservation for 23 May - 1 June 2020. DVC cancelled, and awaiting our 259 points from 2019 to be reinstated to our 2020 June use year. And......Roll Tide from Huntsville!!!

RTR. I'm on the other end of the state from you...right on the Gulf Coast.

Countless hours spent on the phone with member services to address not loosing points that were set to expire. Like many of you we had trips planned and intended on using our points, as we do every year. We were told these remaining points would be "banked" and of course were subject to the new extension of expiration, of one more year. Our Use Year is June, so as of 5/31 I had my 30 thirty points as returned by DVC from a cancelled trip, and now that 6/1 has passed, I log in and my 30 points are GONE. I remember Member services saying please be patient it may take sometime, but all 30 were returned safe and sound. Then GONE, not banked, not in holding. The Points transaction shows they were taken as of 6/1/20. Anxiously waiting for Member services to open up at 9am so I can attempt at getting an explanation. Anyone else been thru this yet or currently? I am always understanding and kind to member services, and don't intend on changing my tune but, WHERE DID MY POINTS GO?

MS has been very clear in stating that they would be working on this from 6/1-6/5, and all points should show back up by Friday.

Patience.

I have 68 Aug set to expire that were borrowed and need to be UNborrowed from a cancelled resie. It has been a week and they are still sitting in Aug 2019. July 31 they too will expire. At least I have some time for MS to UNborrow them. Let us know what happens when you call today. I tied to call yesterday, 45 times, and it was a busy signal every time.

The system is set up to work that way, and they were not going to try to change things for this.

There is some level of manual involvement in getting them moved and it sounds like DVC decided that the extension of the points will not be given until they actually expire.

Once they do, then they will be put back. For April and June UY, this is that week.

I know it is scary, but give it time, From the reports, if they are 2019 points, they will show up and be usable online.

As others said, they are allowing them to expire and then reinstating them. For those that need points returned to their original use year immediately, you can contact member services and they will do this manually while you are on the phone. I had this situation for a trip in June that we wanted to get rescheduled ASAP with banked points, but borrowed point rules from the different contracts made it impossible. After finally getting through (lots of busy signals all day), it was about an hour wait, and the call took maybe 20 minutes. I let the CM go and then booked myself online, so someone else could get through. As soon as I was off the phone, the borrowed points were back into their original use year and I could book with my banked points (multiple contract situation) and even reborrow a couple of points that we ended up needing.

Our 10 points from a covid cancelled reservation that were 2019 June UY disappeared June 1st, but reappeared today. Does anyone know if I go in and modify our January trip that was booked with 2020 points, if it will replace 10 of those points with these "banked" points. Or do we have to call?

I just checked mine...and they're now there, as June 2020 points.

They weren't there an hour ago.

Like I said...patience.

Update: As of midday Wednesday June 3rd, my 89 points have been reissued into my June 2020 use year.

Our trip was for June 9th and we were at the Grand Californian. DVC rooms weren't available, and the CM told me we could transfer out to the regular hotel rooms, and being DVC availability is so small, that's what most members do. Yesterday they cancelled my reservation because it's not open, but the points are gone. Tried to call member services and the number has the busy signal and the chat function isn't working. I sent an email, but I too am freaking out. It was 237 points! Are all you guys saying we just have to wait? And hope? I just also want to say I'm thankful there are others out there going through this with us.

If you didn’t book DVC, those points are reservation points. Those do not show up online because once converted, they can no longer be used for DVC villas...you have to call in to use them.
