I haven't seen or heard them, much to my chagrin. I was looking forward to just havin the sights and sounds add to the Disney atmosphere I love so much.
The gist is that in preparation of MaxPass, starting on June 21st, you will still only be pulling paper FP but you will redeem differently. Instead of handing over your FP or even scanning it, you will be scanning your ticket or AP to redeem.
Yeah, the only purpose of the paper FP is to help you remember the return time and when your next window opens as well I guess. (And also make for a little souvenir.)
No more spreading a little magic and handing off a paper FP that might otherwise go unused b/c plans changed.

So ends our year of unlimited Disneyland. Five and a half park days this week. WCT WOC and Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour were some of the highlights. We rode GotG seven times, and all of the other headliners multiple times. We saw the fireworks. Met Minnie, Mickey, Jack Sparrow (had a phenomenal interaction with him today on the island - he spent at least ten minutes playing with my DD9), Groot, and Oswald. I Disney-bounded as Ariel, Mary Poppins, Minnie, and Belle. It was a fantastic week that we did not want to end, capping a terrific year of five visits and 22 days in the parks. Thanks, Disneyland - we'll be back next year!
Seriously?! I saw July dates and didn't actually click the blog to read. Off to find it....
EEK!! I am so happy about this. Honestly, it's the only rivers of america thing I cared about since I think it may be a good place for my son to run around without insane crowds (if he can handle the crowded raft ride.)
Will be there last week of June and temps keep rising. In the nineties now. My wife gets nauseous and sick in high heat. Getting a little nervous we can deal with it in the 80's but we get worn down quick in the 90's.
I have been watching the forecast on the weather.com app and I am looking at the one for Disneyland (it actually says Disneyland, not Anaheim.) It keeps showing temps in the 80's for our days. But yet, it shows a heat advisory that says temps in the 100's. I don't get it.
Either way...we plan to go back to the hotel after lunch for a while. We are also bringing a spray bottle with a fan. Lots of sunscreen. Plenty of water. We have a visor extender for our son's stroller.
The advisory is for today and reads temperatures "90 - 99". Current temp is 86 at 3pm, so the temp could still hit close to 90.
Advisories are typically set by the local National Weather service and many times are "cover your a$$" forecasts. Unfortunately in our sue happy society these advisories cover about anything that will prevent a law suit.
We got back late last night. We had a blast in the parks and really enjoyed World of Color - we even watched it from right up on the rail the second night and only got misted a few times. Our last morning (my birthday!) we managed to ride Guardians twice more - bringing our overall total to 7 times I believe and then hit Tom Sawyer's Island for about an hour it was awesome to see it open again! Tom even used a bunch of pictures I took that morning in the post about it on wdwinfo.com which was cool for me! I'm so bummed this was our last trip on our APs but now I'm starting the countdown to our WDW trip in December in earnest!
