I didn't notice a June 2013 thread. We would like to go the end of June when school lets out. Who's with me?

Me and my family!! I just need to convince hubby that's what we're doing...but that won't be too hard. I plan to go right after the kids are finished with school in June -- probably arriving around Father's Day. That's when we've gone for 3 of our last 4 trips and it works well for us. I keep getting PINs for *this* summer...they better appear again next spring. :) We had a free dining PIN for our trip last June...would take that again or a good discount on the room(s).

We are planning to go June 2013 as well. Our kids get out of school early, so it will likely be earlier than what you two are planning.
We went in June of 2011 (our first WDW trip and our first "real" family vacation!), and DH thought we'd wait three years, but the kids can't wait to back! I wish we could go sooner. :-)
I'm already thinking about things, and it's more than a year out, so I feel silly. But DH's work schedule won't allow any trips this summer (not even to visit his parents like we usually do) so that's why I'm already focused on 2013.
We booked our 2011 trip through my SIL, who is a travel agent, and I never get any paraphernalia from Disney at all... wonder why??? I keep hearing about people getting PINs and I'm jealous. Do you get them via email or snail mail?

I've gotten them both ways, but any PIN I've gotten in the mail has been sent as an e-mail first -- usually about 3 weeks before I get the postcard. But not all of my e-mail PINS are followed up by snail mail. The e-mails come from Disney Destinations, so watch for that in your inbox and junk mail. No one seems to know the magical formula for getting a PIN but I've noticed that if I play around at the Disney reservation website and act like I'm actually planning a vacation (pricing out a vacation and saving that info but never actually booking it) I usually get a PIN a few weeks later. I always order the free Planning DVD as well. And I sign up for any Disney newsletter and e-mail updates that I come across. I figure the more places I'm "visible" to Disney, the better. I always book through a Disney Travel Agent as well, so that doesn't mean you won't get a PIN.

Thanks! I do have some itineraries saved on the Disney site, but maybe I'll do some of the other things too. Can't hurt!
My four year old will turn 5 at the end of May. We were talking about Disney, and I told him we'd go again right after he turned 6. His response: "That's terrible!" Well, why is that terrible? "That's so long!!! You don't even understand how long that is!!!" To me it's about a year, but to him, that is soooo far. Poor guy. Wish we could go back sooner!

We will back June 2013 as well. Seems so far off, but already excited!

If all goes according to plan, I will be starting my Disney College Program in June 2013! :goodvibes

We are thinking of going in mid-June 2013. We have never been at this time. We are looking to stay on-site for 9 or 10 days and typically do the regular dining. Any advice?

Leaving in 7 days and will repeat the trip again in 2013, 2014, 2015 ..... and so on, God willing. Our 43rd anniversary is the 7th so we always go the same time. Hope to be there for our fiftieth. Love it this time of year, warm, a little moist but not unbearable. Attendance is busy but not overwhelming.

We will be heading there the first week of June. We will be driving from Indiana so we'll leave May 31st and arrive June 1st. Not sure where we are staying yet. We have 3 dogs so we've thought about staying off-site at a pet friendly condo but not sure. Still have time to decide :cool1:

We are! We are!! I planned the vacation so that we can leave the day after school gets out. June 1st-8th. This will be our kids first trip and we will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary. Yay!! :cool1:
