June 2012 code watch?

I tried to apply the discount to my reservation in early June at CSR but the guy said they were none left except for king rooms. Bummer, but the AAA discounts are out now, so he applied that.

I just booked June 1 - 12 CSR for 3 adults w/ 2 queen beds. After I read your post, I checked on-line thru June 20 and they had availability with 2 queens. I'd call back or check and book on-line. Hope this helps!!!

Sooo excited there is finally a discount! I have a pin for dates thru Feb. but that wouldn't work for us. My question though is, if we go ahead and book with the new June code and we get a pin that is better, or some other offer comes around, can we change which discount is applied to our reservation so we can get whichever is the best deal? If we've paid off our trip how do they handle any refund/difference? Would love to get this booked so we don't miss out on the resort we want but sure would hate to jump the gun & spend extra if we may be able to save more by waiting...decisions, decisions...

After diligently checking this thread it somehow slipped by me that a discount was released! Ugh. But no worries, easily appllied 30% to my YC stay in June. This is our first time in 4 years not staying Club Level but the difference between a CL and standard room was pretty big this year - use to be less than 100 now it was 120 plus tax a night diff. Not worth it for me this year. So I REEALLY saved today when I added the code and took off CL!!!

What are the discounts for AAA? Did you have to go through AAA to get the discount or Disney? I spoke to AAA a couple of weeks ago and there didn't seem to be much of a discount with them?

Well, that was quick. I received a PIN in my email. 30% off any resort from 6/1 - 6/30, 2012. Instantly took off about 400 dollars off the cost of my trip. Booked!

Now that would be the PIN that I am wishing for...well, that or "free dining". We got the spring room discount applied for the first half of our trip, but since we aren't going to be there until June 10, we only got the first half covered with the offer. Saved almost 300 for us, but I would love to save more.

The regular spring discount would have applied to about half of my trip as well, but I didn't ask about it since I had the PIN. Could I use and get both discounts? Well, if your PIN was 30% off room prices, then you got the better deal by using the PIN rather than the Spring Rate because you are not allowed to "stack" or use multiple discounts on rooms. You could always call back and see if the savings would be greater with the spring rate (my guess is not) and if they are better than what your PIN was, you can always have that one applied instead.

Well, I don't know if the Spring Discount saved me any money - LOL. I was planning on POFQ but decided to go back to WL because it would only be $700 more. SO, had I originally planned WL I would be saving but now I'm paying more. I just couldn't turn down a good WL deal

Just booked 9 nights at WL in June using the 30% public room discount for the first 6 nights; not as good as last 3 years but it's better than AAA

YES!! If you have a pin/discount code applied to an existing reservation, you CAN change that discount to a different pin/discount to your reservation.

You'd need to call Reservations and have them do it - you cant do it yourself on-line.

and you cant combine discounts...

I like to price a rack rate trip first, and then price out the same trip with each discount to see which is the best.

any rumors of adding free dining offers from march through june, or summer. we really like dining plan and have been lucky enough to get it last two years for june or kids stay free. any chance one of those might come out? those save us much more than % off room discounts.

Joining the June thread! So excited to be here! Just hoping for a PIN code like many of you here! We are looking to stay at POR from June 1st-June
10th. I've already got most of my ADR's booked- surprisingly was able to get exactly the times I wanted for most meals. I'm super excited about this particular trip. We are doing something we haven't done before- picking the kids up at their schools on the last day (June 1st) and going directly to the airport! I don't know who is more excited- me and dh or the kids!! Looking forward to hanging out with you all here- don't forget to let us know if you get a PIN!! Good luck with booking your trips!

We are also hoping for free dining for June 1 - 12!!! For what it's worth, when I made my June reservation, the CM asked me if I wanted the dining package. I told him, "Not unless it's free", and he told me to keep watching, the free dining could be extendedas in past years. I'll keep watching and hoping.

We are new to the "summer" WDW group. In the past we have avoided the summer at all costs, but since my DD started Kindergarten this year, we have no choice. We don't get out of school here until June 12, and then we have a ballet recital that weekend, so we are out for the current offer.

Does anyone know, or know where I can look, when they will announce offers for end of June-August?

I did get a few ADRs out of the way even before I booked...since I have the ones I really wanted, I can wait for the hubs to make his choice.
