June 2012 code watch?

I am new to the Disney thing. I figured being in this forum couldnt hurt for ideas. I have registered for the site. Are there any other tricks out there to be better discounts?

We are hoping to go in early June - probably around the 10th for 10 days. If we don't get a good pin or deal then we have to stay off-site. I am very worried about the heat and crowds too but can't go any other time due to work.

We want to go June 9 to June 17. My son's bday is the 16th. I have never gone in June before and am only picking that time because of school and his birthday. I would really love a pin. I have never done the dining plan and I wouldn't mind the free dining but for us I think the pin is the better deal.

We're looking at going over the same dates, June 10 - 19) and hoping for a PIN or some kind of discount. If all else fails, we'll look at AAA for a room discount on the package. Not the best (10-15% off room), but better than nothing.

Have gone in Sept, Oct and January and Feb. before but June is the best. Great swim weather, longer park hours, no worries of school make up work......wouldn't go any other time!

Totally agree - we have gone several times during the last week or 2 weeks of June and its a great way to kick off the summer and reward the kids for the school year. Already booked SSR for June 2012

I've gone in June before. Usually the 3rd week. We've never had free dining but did get a public discount in 2009 for rooms. We stayed at WL with it. It was a great deal.

I'm really hoping for a PIN this year.

How are the crowds? We are going the 16th of June.

The closer it gets to July the worse the crowds are. June is much better or that is what I have seen and heard.

The crowds are not bad. Get there early. Take a break. Use your fastpasses. The parks are open late. There is plenty of time to do lots.

The heat is the hard part and the afternoon storms. Be prepared. We love June!

We love June too. If you go expecting some crowds, then you won't be disappointed. As pp said, utilize fast passes, take a break, stay late, and be prepared for some rain showers. We like to go in June because I know that it will be warm enough to swim and go to the waterpark. No jackets required.

I havent decided if we'll be there for 6 or 7 nights - I'd push for 8 or 9, but DH is not fond of a vacation that long....

our plan is to stay at the BC and IM SO EXCITED to swim in the pool and be that close to Epcot - we LOVE eating dinner in Epcot, so why not be that close??!!

Im waiting for a discount to come out...

Isn't this about the same discount as the AAA? Just curious, because I haven't booked yet and was hoping to be able to get an AAA discount if nothing else was available.

Holy Cow! 3 weeks in WDW?? I could only dream of that. Heck, that would eat up my entire allotment of vacation time, so it won't be happening anytime soon.

Is their anything to the pin code for June or is this just a joke? I really got I excited when I first read it. Now disappointed becasue it looks like it is not true.
