Hello & Welcome to our honeymoon trip report! Narrated by none other then me, Ashlee! Or I heartbelle87. Whichever you prefer. If you didn't get to check out our PTR check out the link in my siggy.

INTRODUCTION OF CHARTACTERS (abbreviated version)

Me- 23, registered nurse, obsessed with Disney World. Have visited about...ooh...17 times I'd say. Love it. Usually a trip my mom and I take, but a few times my dad has tagged on and this time it was my husband and I for our honeymoon!

DH-25, biotechnology-something doer, been to Disney World one time with his family when he was 12 or something. Doesn't really know what to expect; let me plan everything (good choice honey!)

Let's get started shall we?

We had gotten married on Saturday June 11 in Maine. Northern Maine. Like, a few hours from the Canadian border, Maine. This means a long, long day of traveling for us! We got up about 8am or so and had planned on meeting friends and family (that were also staying at the Inn we got married at) in the lobby to go for breakfast. After breakfast we scrambled back to our hotel room, shoved everything into our SUV and drove about 45 minutes. Good friends of ours lives next to the airport we were flying out of and had attended our wedding so the plan was for them to follow us to the airport and one will drive our car back to their place. We had a 3hr drive ahead of us. Before the 3hr flight. :scared1: So like I said, we drove 45 minutes before we stopped at my parents house, grabbed our boarding passes and drove for another 45 minutes. Now we had to stop at my in-laws, say hello to our little dog that they were watching for us and hit the road again. About an hour late the boys called us from their car, they were hungry. We stopped for lunch or about 45 minutes, and FINALLY got into the car one last time.
Once we arrived at the airport we got our bags out, said our goodbyes, handed over the keys to our SUV and headed inside. DH decided that, the middle of the entrance of the airport would be a good place to open up his rolling suitcase and a change shoes. Oh dear.... but it all ended well, it was about 3:15 or so and our flight left at 5:25pm. There was only one person ahead of us, so we checked our bags and proceed to security. I allowed DH to go first since he is not as seasoned traveler as myself. Of course, I was selected for a random test. popcorn:: I was told to stand aside and wait. So I did. Then a man came over, took a cloth, wiped my hands and put the cloth in a machine. The machine beeped and I was released to rejoin the general public :worship: By now it's only about 4:15 or so, and have over an hour before we leave. We're both totally exhausted, and yes, we were those bums taking up two seats each, sleeping (somewhat) on the chair at the airport. Finally about 5pm I woke DH up, we each used the bathroom "one last time" and DH got a sub from Quizno's while I opted for a yogurt parfait. We border the plane without issues and for 3 grueling hours! Our plane landed about 30 minutes early!! But due to some rainstorms that Orlando had, we were stuck on the runway for about...ooh...35 minutes. Once we were allowed off we made a beeline for the bathrooms but before that I made sure I checked the thing that tells you what luggage claim to go to. Ours was #14. We proceeded to the fake monorail and found our driver, and waited for our luggage. And waited. And waited. And waited. I was panicking on the inside. I finally asked the SW rep behind us and he told us that they changed our baggage claim to #13!! We went over, and sure enough, two lonely bags (ours!) were sitting there. We proceed outside where we boarded our Escalade and were drive to CSR! I was completed starving and I saw a Red Lobster (which do not have in Boston) and was very tempted to treat even the driver to Red Lobster if he'd stopped. DH held me back!

Next up...checking in at a CSR!!
